As the core interests of the state,territory has been attached importance to by all sides.The state has also issued a series of documents to cultivate students' national territory awareness.It is the need of national security as well as the need of students' overall development to study the cultivation strategy of national territory awareness in high school geography teaching.According to the questionnaire survey and interview of high school teachers and students,high school students think that the national territory awareness is very important,but they lack relevant knowledge.The main reason is that the school and society do not pay enough attention to it.Due to the lack of relevant content in the college entrance examination and geography curriculum standards,geography teachers will also neglect the cultivation of students' national territory awareness under the condition of fewer class hours and heavy tasks.Through literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and case study,it is concluded that the main contents of high school to cultivate the national territory awareness include territory,sea areas under national jurisdiction,national boundaries and the standardized use of maps.This paper puts forward the teaching strategies to cultivate the high school students' national territory awareness.First,we should adhere to the correct teaching principles and take politics,standardization and inspiration as the teaching principles.Secondly,we should broaden the ways to cultivate the national territory awareness.We can adopt special subject study to popularize the awareness of national map.Review the regional geography knowledge,deepen the national territory awareness;Taking political geography as an elective course to enhance the national territory awareness;To guide extra-curricular study and strengthen the national territory awareness;Third,to choose appropriate teaching methods,such as map method,situational teaching method,moral cultivation guidance method;Fourth,we should pay attention to the evaluation of students' learning process and adopt the thinking structure evaluation and performance evaluation advocated by the new curriculum standard.After putting forward the teaching strategies,the author designs two teaching cases,"the blue land of our country" and "the standardized use of maps",and conducts teaching reflection and evaluation.
