Ancient poetry teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching,which plays an important role in cultivating students' language ability,aesthetic ability and cultural inheritance.Ancient poetry is characterized by its essence in language and profound implication.Only through careful reading can students perceive its rich connotation.Students' interest in learning and their ability of interpreting ancient poetry directly affect the development of teaching activities.How to effectively improve the students' ability of interpreting ancient poetry and cultivate their interest in learning ancient poetry has become one of the important and difficult points in the teaching of Chinese teachers in middle schools,as well as the key to improve the effect of Chinese teaching in middle schools.As a careful,in-depth and repeated analysis reading method,close reading requires reading out the hidden meaning,the implication and the meaning of the text between the lines.The close reading is applied in the teaching of ancient poetry,emphasizes that teachers first read the text carefully,dig out the rich connotation of ancient poetry,and then transform the content of close reading into teaching content,so as to find a teaching breakthrough and improve the teaching effect of ancient poetry.Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that most teachers do not have a deep understanding of the theory of close reading,the content of close reading is not clear,the teaching method of close reading is single,and the students have some problems such as low interest in learning ancient poetry,weak ability of text interpretation,and non-aesthetic learning.The solution lies in exploring a new method and a new way to read the text of ancient poetry carefully.New media not only changes the way of life,but also enriches the teaching resources,updates the teaching means,and provides innovation space for close reading.In the perspective of the new media,close reading is not only to follow the rules of "text center adapts to students' cognition,local close reading combines the overall view,single intensive reading combines group article extensive reading",but also strive to achieve "literal expression combines video representation,text reading combines with audio and visual perception".The ancient language material,emotional context,teaching in the educational system of expression skill are also required to be read carefully.In the new media recitation,sound helps reading to appreciate the poetic situation,pictures help reading to perceive the poetry,and audio-visual combination to feel the poetic situation.With the help of new media,restore the sentence form,the artistic perception,and the emotional logic,and compare the words,poems and paintings,and group texts to taste the language charm,theme implication and artistic characteristics of ancient poetry.
