A Comparative Study On The Characteristic Parameters Of TCM Pulse Diagnosis In Young People Of Hunan Province With Calmness And Phlegm-dampness

Objective : By understanding the characteristics of the constitution distribution of TCM young people in Hunan,this study uses a pulse diagnosis instrument to collect pulse information from people of different constitutions,and establishes a database of pulse diagnosis information related to constitution.Through exploring the characteristic difference of pulse diagnosis information between the young people of balanced constitution and phlegm-damp constitution,in order to provide an objective basis for pulse diagnosis to identify physique and prevent diseases.Methods:Based on the combination of modern scientific and technological achievements and traditional TCM pulse diagnosis theory,this study use the pulse diagnosis instrument developed by the Beijing Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences to collect 1770 cases pulse diagnosis information and physiological information of 17-26 years old young people who meet the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.After physique classification,collect 117 young people with balanced constitution and 59 young people with phlegm-dampness constitution of pulse diagnosis information objectively and dynamically at the 6 positions of the left and right hands.Use the time-domain analysis method to analyze the pulse waves of multiple consecutive cycles,and extracting the characteristic parameters of the effective pulse diagram.After excluding the influence of gender,age,height,weight,BMI,heart rate,blood pressure and other factors,use independent sample t-test to explore the differences of pulse characteristic parameters of young people between two different constitutions and compare the pulse information characteristics of health people with phlegm-dampness constitution under different age gradients and gender.Results :(1)Compared the phlegm-dampness constitution group with the balanced constitution group,the values of h3,h4,t,t1,t4,t5,h4/h1,t4/t5,the left Chi AIr,the right Cun AIr,the right Guan AIr and the right Chi AIr of the young people with phlegm-dampness constitution increased significantly(P<0.01).(2)Compared pulse parameters of young people with different genders of phlegm-dampness constitution,the values of AIr and PTT of left and right hands of female are higher than those of male.The values of t4/t5,the left Chi AIr,the right Cun AIr,the right Guan AIr,the right Chi AIr and the right Cun PTT of the female with phlegm-dampness constitution increased significantly(P<0.05).Moreover,the values of h5 and the right Cun DAI of the male with phlegm-dampness constitution increased significantly(P<0.05).(3)Compared of pulse parameters of healthy people with phlegm-dampness constitution in different age gradients,characteristic differences mainly include the all values of AIr,DAI,PTT of left and right hands(P<0.05).Conclusion : Balanced constitution is the most common type of young people’s constitution.Pulse diagram parameters show regular changes with age,indicating that pulse diagnosis characteristic parameters can be used to assess the health status of different age groups.There are differences in pulse information parameters between young people with balanced constitution and those with phlegm-dampness constitution,and there are also differences in pulse characteristics of healthy people with phlegm-dampness constitution in different genders,which suggests that pulse characteristic parameters can be used as objective indicators to distinguish constitution types.This research has certain reference value for identifying phlegm-damp physique,and can provide objective basis and theoretical guidance for pulse diagnosis and identifying constitution types.
