Purpose:This study combined the physical constitution of traditional Chinese medicine with the evaluation of cardiopulmonary function of western medicine,and explored the influencing factors and differences of exercise cardiopulmonary reserve function in people with phlegm-dampness constitution and balanced constitution.Material and method:All samples were from people who had physical examinations at the Northern Theater Air Force Hospital from January 2022 to November 2022.The TCM constitution of the subjects was determined by questionnaire,and the three TCM physicians identified the TCM constitution by looking at and hearing and cutting the four diagnoses and references,and if the doctors’constitution judgment was inconsistent,the principle of minority obeying the majority was followed to determine the subject’s constitution.The subjects completed the"TCM Physique Classification and Judgment Table"and cardiopulmonary exercise test examination,and divided the subjects into phlegm-dampness constitution group and balanced constitution group according to the results of TCM constitution classification and TCM physician’s Four diagnoses and references,and then imported all the collected data into Excel to establish a database,SPSS26.0 was applied for statistical analysis.Results:There were significant differences in age and body mass index between phlegm-dampness constitution and balanced constitution subjects(P<0.05),no differences between sex,smoking and drinking groups of phlegm-dampness constitution and balanced constitution subjects(P>0.05),and cardiopulmonary exercise test indexes of phlegm-dampness constitution and balanced constitution subjects Loadmax,MET,HR,VO2max,VO2max/kg,maximum O2/HR,AT,VEmax,VEmax/kg,The difference between OUES was statistically significant(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference betweenΔVO2/ΔWR,BR and VE/VCO2groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:There were certain differences in the cardiopulmonary exercise test results of phlegm-dampness constitution and balanced constitution people,and the average age and BMI of people with phlegm-dampness constitution were higher than those in people with balanced constitution,indicating that age and BMI were closely related to the formation of phlegm-dampness constitution.The Loadmax,MET,HR,VO2max/kg,maximum O2/HR,AT,VEmax/kg,OUES and other indexes of people with phlegm-dampness constitution are poorer than those in people with balanced constitution,suggesting that the cardiopulmonary reserve function and cardiorespiratory endurance of people with phlegm-dampness constitution are lower than those in people with balanced constitution,and early intervention should be taken to regulate the biased constitution to prevent the occurrence of related diseases.
