A Prospective Cohort Study Of Rougan Dingchan Decoction In The Treatment Of Parkinson's Disease With Liver-kidney Yin Deficiency

Objective: In this study,By observing the Rou Gan Ding Chan Decoction treatment of Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency type of Parkinson’s disease patients.Discussed on the basis of western medicine standardized medication can use traditional Chinese medicine synergies.Improve patients’ s TCM syndrome,relieve the clinical symptoms of patients and improve their living ability,so as to further improve patients’ quality of life.Methods: Observe 100 patients from the Hunan university of Chinese Medicine integrated Chinese and western medicine affiliated hospital,the time is form December 2019 to December 2020,were investigated by prospective cohort study.Patients were divided into two cohorts according to their treatment intentions,divided into integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment group and western medicine control group.Both groups of patients were treated with standardized western medicine.Combine traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment group on the basis of the treatment of western medicine control group plus with Rou Gan Ding Chan Decoction.Observation of 4 weeks.Comparison and observation two groups of unified Parkinson’s disease rating scale(UPDRS),Parkinson’s quality of life scale of traditional Chinese medicine,TCM syndrome scale integral change in before and after treatment.Results: There were 74 cases in the treatment group and 26 cases in the control group.Two groups of patients before treatment no statistical differences in age,course of the disease,and gender,the two groups were comparable(P>0.05).Two groups of patients before treatment no statistical differences in UPDRS,the Parkinson’s quality of life scale of traditional Chinese medicine(PD – QOL)and TCM syndrome integral scale(P>0.05).4 weeks after treatment,the treatment group and control group scores are significantly reduced.The two groups of patients with UPDRS,the Parkinson’s quality of life scale of traditional Chinese medicine((PD –QOL),TCM syndrome integral scale score difference is statistically significant(P< 0.05).Treatment group curative effect is better than that of control group.Conclusion: Liver-Kidney Yin deficiency type of Parkinson’s disease patients using traditional Chinese medicine Rou Gan Ding Chan Decoction combined with western medicine treatment effect is better than pure western medicine treatment.Rou Gan Ding Chan Decoction can improve the TCM syndrome of patients,relieve their clinical symptoms,improve their living ability and can obviously improve their quality of life.Hope in the future of Parkinson’s disease in the clinical treatment of traditional Chinese medicine to provide reference value.
