Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Young Female Facial Acne By Local Multiple-superficial Needling Combined With Auricular Point Pressing Method And The Correlation Analysis With Different TCM Constitution

Objective:1.To observe and compare the clinical efficacy of tretinoin cream,local multiple-superficial needling method and local multiple-superficial needling combined with auricular point pressing method in the treatment of young female facial acne.2.To compare the clinical efficacy of the above three methods for young female with different Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)constitutions in the treatment of facial acne,so as to provide reference for the later clinical research of large sample selection of appropriate treatment methods for young women with different TCM constitutions in the treatment of facial acne.Methods:1.This was a 8-week randomized controlled trial.A total of 69 patients were randomly assigned to three groups.The local multiple-superficial needling combined with auricular point pressing group and local multiple-superficial needling group were treated 3 times a week for a total of 12 times.In the drug group,tretinoin cream was applied to the acne every night for a total of 4 weeks.And then patients were followed up for 4 weeks.The patients were scored by the Global Acne Grading System(GAGS)at the first day,the second week,the forth week,the sixth weeks and the eighth weeks,and then calculated the acne fading rates,clinical effective rates.And recorded the patients’ satisfaction and acceptance scores.2.According to the TCM constitution classification method classified the patients,sorted out the TCM constitution types in the three groups,calculated the acne fading rate under each treatment method.Firstly,compared the difference of the curative effect of different TCM constitutions under the same treatment,and then compared the difference of the curative effect of the same TCM constitutions under different treatments.Results:1.The patients’ age,BMI,disease course and GAGS scores at first week had no statistically significant at baseline.After 2 weeks of treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in GAGS scores among the three groups.After 4 weeks,the GAGS scores of the local multiple-superficial needling combined with auricular point pressing group and local multiple-superficial needling group were lower than that of the drug group,and the acne fading rates,clinical effective rates,satisfaction and acceptance scores were higher than that of the drug group(P<0.05).The clinical effective rate of local multiple-superficial needling combined with auricular point pressing group and the local multiple-superficial needling group was 100%,higher than that of drug group(P<0.05).After 6 weeks and 8 weeks,there were statistically significant differences in GAGS scores among the three groups(P<0.05).2.There were mainly three TCM constitutions in patients,like dampness and heat,phlegm and dampness and Yin deficiency.For the patients with dampness and heat condition,the acne fading rates were 75%,72% and 32% by the three treatments.For phlegm and dampness,they were 72%,78% and 55%.For Yin deficiency,they were 80%,77%,and45%.For different TCM constitutions,the acne fading rate of the local multiple-superficial needling combined with auricular point pressing method and local multiple-superficial needling method was high and similar,and had no statistically significant difference.But it was higher than that of drug method,and the difference had statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The method of local multiple-superficial needling combined with auricular point pressing had better improvement of the GAGS scores,and the better acne fading rate,clinical effective rate,and the satisfaction and acceptability degree than using tretinoin cream in treating young women with facial acne.But the local multiple-superficial needling method had the same effect as it.2.The treatment of facial acne on young women with dampness and heat,phlegm and dampness,Yin deficiency condition by local multiple-superficial needling combined with auricular point pressing method and local multiple-superficial needling method had better curative effect than that of tretinoin cream method.However,it seemed that the above two methods did not have better curative effect on a certain TCM constitution.In the later research,the samples need to be expanded for further verification.
