Objective:By observing the local acupuncture point burr method combined with the ear acupuncture point pressure bean for the treatment of facial muscle spasm, comparing the frequency, intensity and total effective rate of the patient’s muscle spasm before and after treatment, the clinical efficacy of the local acupuncture point burr method combined with the ear acupuncture point pressure bean in the treatment of facial muscle spasm was discussed,so as to provide more feasible and effective treatment methods for the clinical treatment of facial muscle spasm. Methods:All cases in this subject were from January 2020 to December 2021 and were treated at the Acupuncture and Moxibustion Department,Geriatrics Clinic and Pre-treatment Center of Heilongjiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2021.A total of 62 patients with hemifacial spasm who met the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method. The treatment group was treated with local acupoint burr method combined with ear acupoint pressing beans, while the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture. The treatment time in this study was 6 weeks, and both groups were treated once every other day. Before and after treatment, the two groups were analyzed and compared the data of Cohen intensity classification of spasticity,Penn frequency classification and total effective rate after treatment.Efficacy differences.Result:1.Comparison of basic informationBy comparing the two sets of basic data, including sex, age, disease history, etc, none of them were statistically significant(P>0.05),and they were comparable.2.Graded comparison of Cohen’s degree of spasmBy comparing the Cohen spasticity degree classification of the first two groups of treatment,P=0.260,P>0.05,Z=-1.127,there was no statistical difference, and it was comparable. After treatment, the degree of Cohen spasticity before and after treatment was compared, and the intra-group comparison: treatment group Z=-4.886,P<0.05;control group Z=-4.690,P<0.05;inter-group comparison: Z=-2.139,P<0.05,which was statistically significant.3.Penn spasticity frequency grading comparisonBy comparing the grades of Penn spasticity frequency in the first two groups of treatment,P=0.864,P>0.05,Z=-0.171,there was no statistical difference and there was a comparable. After treatment, the frequency of Penn spasticity before and after treatment was compared, and the intra-group comparison: Z=-4.802,P<0.05;control group Z=-4.472,P<0.05;inter-group comparison: Z=-2.285,P<0.05,which was statistically significant.4.Efficacy evaluationThe total effective comparison was carried out: treatment group: 5 cases were cured,14 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 90.00%;control group: 2 cases were cured,9 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were effective,7 cases were ineffective, and the total The effective rate was 75.86%;compared between the two groups,Z=-2.084,P<0.05,there was a statistical difference, the local acupoint burr method combined with auricular acupoint pressing beans was better than conventional acupuncture.Conclusion:1.Both treatment methods can treat hemifacial spasm, and the clinical efficacy of local acupoint burr method combined with ear acupoint pressing is higher than conventional acupuncture;2.Both treatment methods can improve the spasm frequency and frequency of hemifacial spasm.Local acupoint burr method combined with ear acupoint pressing beans is better than conventional acupuncture in improving symptoms.
