Meta Analysis Of The Correlation Between Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Type And Uveitis

Objective: To explore the correlation between uveitis patients and traditional Chinese medicine physique types,and to provide new ideas for the diagnosis,treatment and prevention of uveitis with the method of Meta analysis.Methods: This study used computer to search Pubmed,Cochrane Library,Web of science,Embase,China Biomedical Literature Database,CNKI,Wanfang,Weipu and other databases from the establishment of the database to 2020 published on the correlation between TCM constitution type and uveitis In clinical research literature,two researchers independently screened the literature according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,extracted data and evaluated the quality of the literature,and then used Revman 5.4 and RStudio statistical software to conduct Meta analysis.Results:(1)A total of 166 articles were retrieved,and 8 articles were finally included,which were published in 2006-2020.Among them,3articles were case-control studies and 5 articles were cross-sectional studies.A total of 1029 patients with uveitis were included.(2)The quality of the included literature was evaluated using the NOS scale and AHRQ scale.On the whole,the quality of the included literature was average,and the conclusions had a certain risk of bias.(3)There are 8literatures involving the main types of uveitis.Meta analysis shows that the proportions of patients with damp heat,yin deficiency,phlegm dampness,yang deficiency,qi deficiency,and blood stasis uveitis are18%,respectively.16%,13%,12%,11%,6%.(4)There are two literatures involving the qualitative differences between patients with uveitis and normal people.The meta-calculated odds ratio(OR)shows that patients with yang-deficiency,yin-deficiency,phlegm-dampness,damp-heat,qi-deficiency,and blood stasis have uveal The risk of inflammation is relatively high,and the risk of uveitis in the moderate population is relatively low.(5)There are 3 literatures on the main physique of traditional Chinese medicine involving patients with different types of uveitis.Meta analysis shows that patients with anterior uveitis are prone to develop damp heat,accounting for 30%;patients with intermediate uveitis and patients with posterior uveitis It is easy to form yang-deficiency quality,accounting for 27% and 71%,respectively;patients with panuveitis are easy to develop yang-deficiency quality and blood stasis,accounting for 28%;patients with VKH syndrome and Behcet’s disease are easy The formation of yin deficiency quality is 50% and 39%respectively;patients with Fuchs syndrome are prone to develop phlegm-damp quality,which accounts for 41%.(6)Three documents reported on the number of people with uveitis complex constitution.The results of Meta analysis showed that except for complex yin deficiency,the largest proportion was 11%,and the proportion of other complex physique was less than 10%,followed by complex qi deficiency and complex phlegm-dampness.9%,compound damp-heat quality and compound blood stasis quality accounted for 8%,and compound Yang-deficiency quality accounted for at least 2%.Conclusion: According to this Meta analysis:(1)Damp-heat,Yin deficiency,phlegm-dampness,Yang deficiency,Qi deficiency,and blood stasis are the main physique types of patients with uveitis;(2)Yang deficiency,Yin deficiency,Phlegm-dampness,damp-heat,qi-deficiency,and blood stasis are the main risk factors for the onset of uveitis;(3)Damp-heat is the main type of constitution in patients with anterior uveitis,and yang-deficiency is in patients with intermediate uveitis and posterior uveitis The main constitution types of patients with inflammation,yang deficiency and blood stasis are the main constitution types of patients with panuveitis;yin deficiency is the main constitution type of patients with VKH syndrome and Beh?et’s disease,and phlegm dampness is the main type of patients with Fuchs syndrome The main physique type.(4)The proportions of the various complex constitutions of uveitis are: compound yin deficiency constitution accounts for 11%,compound qi deficiency constitution and compound phlegm-dampness constitution account for 9%,compound damp-heat constitution and compound blood stasis constitution account for 8%,and compound yang The proportion of deficiencies is 2%.In summary,there may be some differences in the types of TCM physiques in patients with different types of uveitis.
