ObjectiveBased on the basic theory of "spleen main muscle" in traditional Chinese medicine, the efficacy and safety of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction for patients with lung qi deficiency syndrome before and after treatment were observed, including respiratory muscle movement assist score, respiratory muscle physiology index,MMRC score,TCM symptom score, lung function,six-minute walking test,CAT score, etc.,to provide scientific basis for its clinical application.Methods68 patients with AECOPD who met the criteria of naloxone in respiratory department of Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine from February 1,2019 to December 31,2020 were randomly divided into control group(34 cases)and treatment group(34 cases). The control group was treated with the standard treatment plan of "Chinese expert consensus on diagnosis and treatment of AECOPD(updated version in 2017)".According to the patient’s condition, bronchodilator, controlled oxygen therapy, antibiotics, glucocorticoids, mechanical ventilation and other treatment measures were selected. The treatment group was treated with Buzhong Yiqi Decoction on the basis of the same Western medicine treatment as the control group. The course of treatment was 14 days. The changes of clinical symptoms, signs,CAT score, lung function,MMRC score, respiratory muscle auxiliary score, respiratory muscle physiological index and six minute walk test were observed before and after treatment.Results1.There was no significant difference in sex,age and course of disease between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.The TCM symptom score of the two groups decreased after treatment(P<0.05),the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the improvement FEV1%pred of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.There was no difference between the two groups(P<0.05).4.The results showed that Buzhong Yiqi decoction could improve the lung function of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with deficiency of lung and spleen qi,and the m MRC of the two groups was improved after treatment.5.The improvement score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),indicating that the CAT score of the patients with Buzhong Yiqi decoction was better than that of the control group(P<0.01),and the CAT score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.6.The results showed that Buzhong Yiqi decoction combined with western medicine could improve the quality of life and alleviate the pain of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in acute exacerbation. After treatment, the walking distance between the two groups was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).7.After treatment, the auxiliary respiratory muscle movement score of the two groups decreased(P<0.05),indicating that respiratory muscle fatigue was improved after treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05);two groups after treatment. Conclusion: Buzhong Yiqi Decoction has a positive effect on the treatment of patients with lung spleen qi deficiency syndrome in AECOPD.It can better improve the basic symptoms of patients, improve the quality of life, improve lung function and respiratory muscle fatigue. At the same time,no adverse drug reactions occurred in this clinical trial, which has good safety and certain clinical significance.
