Objective: Through clinical study,to observe the clinical efficacy of pure western medicine control group and Yupingfeng and Dilong,Rhodiola rosea decoction combined with western medicine treatment group(experimental group)in the treatment of lung qi deficiency syndrome in stable stage of COPD,in order to provide theoretical support for the treatment of stable lung qi deficiency syndrome. Methods: The patients with stable COPD(lung qi deficiency syndrome)who met the inclusion criteria were selected from Yantai Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine affiliated to Shandong University of traditional Chinese Medicine from March to November in 2019.They were divided into two groups by randomized and choose a controlled clinical trial design. The control group received routine treatment according to the global GOLD guidelines, while the experimental group received routine treatment with Yupingfeng and Dilong,Rhodiola rosea decoction. The course of treatment was one month in both groups. Before and after treatment,TCM syndrome score,mMRC,CAT,pulmonary function and safety index were compared between the control group and the experimental group. Then the evaluation and analysis are carried out through professional statistical software(SPSS).Results: 57 patients were enrolled in the clinical study.25 cases fell off,and 52 cases had complete clinical data,it also includes 26 cases in the control group and 26 cases in the treatment group. The baseline of the treatment group was neat and comparable with that of the experimental group.1.Effect on TCM syndrome score: Before and after treatment, the scores of various syndromes in the experimental group were decreased,P < 0.01,with a very significant statistical difference.compared with western medicine control group,Yupingfeng and Dilong,Rhodiola rosea decoction in treatment group can effectively improve lung qi deficiency syndrome such as cough, spontaneous sweating, evil wind and fatigue in patients with stable COPD,P>0.05,without a significant statistical difference. While there was no significant improvement in the score of syndrome of less breath and idle talk, shortness of breath(P>0.05).The total score of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group,P < 0.01,and there was significant difference between the two groups.2.Curative effect: Compared with the control group, the effect of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group(P < 0.01),with a very significant statistical difference.3.Effect on mMRC score: after treatment, there was significant difference in mMRC score between the two groups,P<0.05.Compared the mMRC score before and after treatment, with the control group P > 0.05 and the treatment group P < 0.05,treatment group is better than the control group. The difference is statistically significant.4.Effect on CAT score: After treatment, the CAT score of the two groups decreased compared with that before treatment,P < 0.05.Comparing between group, the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group,P < 0.05.There are statistical differences between the two groups.5.Effect on lung function: After treatment,FEV1 / FVC and FEV1% of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment,P < 0.05,with statistical difference. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the comparion between two groups(P > 0.05),but the mean value of FEV1 / FVC and FEV1% in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group.6.Safety index comparison: there was no allergic reaction and other discomfort between the control group and the experimental group during treatment. The liver and kidney functions(AST,ALT,BUN,CR)of the two groups before and after treatment were in the normal range, proving that this treatment has good safety. Conclusion: The method of “Jiebiaokuanzhong Kuorong” can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with lung qi deficiency syndrome of COPD,it improves the quality of life of patients and patients’ lung function, delay the development of the disease, and finally makes a good clinical effect. This method provides a new idea for TCM treatment of COPD.
