Clinical Observation And Study Of Modified Chixiaodou-danggui-san Combined With Chemotherapy On Postoperative Colon Cancer Patients With Damp Heat And Stasis Toxic Syndrome

Objective:The aim of this research is to observe the therapeutic value and security of modified Chixiaodou-Danggui-San combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of postoperative colon cancer patients with Damp Heat and Stasis Toxic Syndrome.Methods:The research selected patients with colon malignant tumors who met the research criteria in the Department of Oncology and General Surgery at hospital of Chengdu University of TCM from Feb 2019 to Feb 2021.On the grounds of the randomized digital table of sequence of registration,they were segmented into therapeutic group with 31 cases and control group with 30 cases.The therapeutic plan for both groups were m FOLFOX-6 regimen chemotherapy,liver protection,anti-vomiting and other adjuvant treatments.The treatment group took modified Chixiaodou-Da nggui-San orally every day.After 42 days of continuous treatment for the two groups,the changes in TCM syndrome,carcinoembryonic antigen,physical strength score,FACT-C scale score and side effects after handling were analyzed by statistical tool to estimate the therapeutic value and security.Results:1.The therapeutic efficiency of TCM syndromes of the therapy group(61.3%)was superior to the control subjects(33.3%)with statistical meanings(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the treatment group had more advantages in improving abdominal distension,abdominal pain,loose stool,acute diarrhea and other symptoms.2.CEA levels in both the treatment group and the control group decreased after treatment without meanings of statistics between the two subjects(P>0.05).3.The therapeutic efficiency of KPS score of the therapy group(93.6%)was superior to the control subjects(70.0%)with meanings of statistics between the two subjects(P<0.05).4.After handing,the total scores of FACT-C scale and scores of each domain were increased in both treatment group and control group,and the therapy subjects was inferior to the control subjects in improving social and family status and functional status(P<0.05).5.The incidence of hypoleukocytosis,CINV,diarrhea and peripheral neurotoxicity in the therapy subjects was inferior to the control subjects with meanings of statistics between the two subjects(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of modified Chixiaodou-Danggui-San with m FOLFO X-6 can improve patients’ TCM symptoms,quality of life and KPS score when applied in postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy for colon cancer patients(Damp Heat and Stasis Toxic Syndrome),and effectively alleviate hypoleukocytosis,diarrhea,nausea and vomitingand peripheral neurotoxicity caused by chemotherapy and ensure the safety during chemotherapy,its medication experience has the significance of further exploration.
