【Purpose】A cross-sectional epidemiological survey of 140 patients with dysmenorrhea was carried out by questionnaire survey and the data were analyzed. The distribution of TCM syndromes,TCM constitution and anxiety and depression status of different types of dysmenorrhea were discussed, and the related influencing factors were analyzed,in order to provide more reference for clinical syndrome differentiation and prevention and treatment of dysmenorrhea.【Methods】Under strict quality control,a cross-sectional epidemiological survey was conducted on 140 dysmenorrhea patients(70 primary dysmenorrhea and 70 secondary dysmenorrhea)in the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to February 2021.According to the questionnaire,TCM syndrome types, constitution, anxiety, depression and related life factors of patients were collected, and EXCEL database was established.SPSS26.0software was used to study the TCM syndrome types, constitution, emotion and related factors of dysmenorrhea patients.【Results】1.In patients with primary dysmenorrhea, the frequency of syndrome types from high to low is : qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome,qi and blood deficiency syndrome, liver and kidney deficiency syndrome, damp heat accumulation syndrome; In secondary dysmenorrhea, the frequency of syndrome types from high to low is : qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,damp-heat accumulation syndrome, liver and kidney deficiency syndrome, cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome,qi and blood deficiency syndrome. The difference in TCM syndrome types between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.The constitutions of primary dysmenorrhea patients from high to low were yang deficiency constitution(28.6 %),qi deficiency constitution(17.6 %),qi stagnation constitution(15.1 %),blood stasis constitution(9.2 %),yin deficiency constitution(8.4 %),damp-heat constitution(6.7 %),calm constitution(5.9 %),phlegm-dampness constitution(5.0 %)and special constitution(3.4 %).Patients with secondary dysmenorrhea : blood stasis(20.7 %),qi stagnation(19 %),damp heat(16.5 %),yang deficiency(16.5 %),qi deficiency(10.7 %),gentleness(5.8 %),phlegm(6.6 %),yin deficiency(3.3 %),special intrinsic quality(0.8 %).The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.In terms of anxiety, there were 42 patients(60 %)without anxiety and 22patients(40 %)with anxiety in patients with primary dysmenorrhea. There were 30cases(43 %)without anxiety in patients with secondary dysmenorrhea, and 40 cases(57 %)with anxiety. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P = 0.034 < 0.05).4.There were no significant differences in diet, depression, exercise, dysmenorrhea, exercise and anxiety, depression, exercise and dysmenorrhea, sleep and depression, sleep and dysmenorrhea, diet and dysmenorrhea, dysmenorrhea and depression,TCM syndrome types, constitution and depression between the two groups(P > 0.05).The anxiety of patients with primary dysmenorrhea was not related to TCM syndrome type and constitution(P > 0.05),but was statistically significant with the course of disease and the degree of dysmenorrhea(P < 0.05).Secondary dysmenorrhea patients are the opposite.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that β was positive,P < 0.05,and anxiety was related to dysmenorrhea.【Conclusions】1.The TCM syndromes of dysmenorrhea patients are mainly qi stagnation and blood stasis, and most of them are solid syndromes.2.Primary dysmenorrhea is given priority to with yang deficiency,qi deficiency and other virtual constitution, secondary dysmenorrhea is given priority to with blood stasis,qi stagnation, damp heat and other substantive constitution.3.Anxiety,family history or dysmenorrhea related factors;Primary dysmenorrhea anxiety is related to course of disease and degree of dysmenorrhea, secondary dysmenorrhea TCM syndrome type is related to anxiety.4.Sleep of dysmenorrhea patients is a related factor of anxiety.
