Retrospective Study Of Zhibai Dihuang Pill In The Treatment Of Idiopathic Central Precocious Puberty Girls With Yin Deficiency And Fire Exuberance

Objective:To retrospectively analyze the clinical efficacy of Zhibai Dihuang Pill Decoction in the treatment of girls ith idiopathic central precocious puberty of yin deficiency andfire prosperity,and preliminarily explore the effectiveness and safety of Zhibai Dihuang Decoction in the treatment of precocious puberty.Methods:A retrospective study method was used to collect all 61 electronic cases of precocious puberty from December2020 to December 2021 in Wuhan Hospital of IntegratedTraditional Chinese and Western Medicine and the Pediatric Ward of Wuhan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.There were40 cases of Western medicine diagnosis of central precociouspuberty,traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis of precocious puberty due to yin deficiency and fire,and treatment withZhibai Dihuang Pill.Follow-up records and analysis of the changes of TCM syndromes,uterine volume,ovarian volume,maximum follicle diameter,sex hormone levels and otherindicators of the selected cases before treatment and 3 months after treatment were performed,and finally statisticalanalysis was performed.And record and analyze the vital signs,three major routines,liver and kidney function,blood sugar,thyroid function changes before treatment and after 3 months of treatment in the selected cases,and whether there is anyadverse drug reaction to evaluate the safety.result:1.Efficacy evaluation:After 3 months of Chinese medicinetreatment,5 cases were cured,14 cases were markedly effective,15 cases were effective,6 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 85%.2.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores:Compared with before treatment after 3 months of TCM treatment,children withprecocious puberty have more severe symptoms such as breastswelling and pain,vaginal discharge and five hearts,hot flashes and night sweats,irritability,dry throat and dry mouth.Parts are noticeably better.The total score before treatment was6.55±1.38,and the total score after treatment was 4.27±1.21.The total score of TCM syndromes decreased significantly,and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.3.Comparison of Tanner stages of breast:31 of the 40children with precocious puberty had reduced breasts,and 9 had no obvious change.Among them,15 cases of B2 stage changed from B2 to B1,and 3 cases had no obvious change;9 cases of B3 stagechanged from B3 to B2,5 cases changed from B3 to B1,and 3cases had no obvious change;B4 stage 2 cases became B3 stage,3cases had no obvious change;1 case of menstrual menstruationstopped.4.Comparison of uterine volume,ovarian volume and maximum follicle diameter:compared with before treatment,the uterine and ovarian volume and follicle diameter decreased slightlyafter treatment,and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.5.Comparison of serum sex hormone levels:Compared with before treatment,the sex hormone levels of FSH,LH and E₂in children after treatment were significantly decreased,and the difference was statistically significant（P<0.05）.6.Safety evaluation:After 3 months of treatment,the vital signs,blood routine,stool routine,liver and kidney function,blood sugar,thyroid function,etc.of all theobserved subjects were all within the normal range,and there was no adverse drug reaction during the treatment.Conclusion:Zhibai Dihuang Pill Modified Recipe is clinically effective in the treatment of girls with idiopathic central precociouspuberty due to yin deficiency and fire.The accompanyingsyndromes such as irritability,dry throat and mouth disappear,and secondly,it can inhibit the development of the uterus,ovary,and follicles of children,and reduce the levels ofserum sex hormones LH,FSH,and E₂in children,and no adverse reactions have been found clinically.
