| Objective:To introduce and translate the Theory of Planned Behavior-Medication Safety Questionnaire(TPB-MSQ)and to test the reliability and validity of Chinese version of TPB-MSQ.To explore the level of nurses’intention of medication safety behavior,to clarify the influencing factors,so as to provide the basis for medication safety management.Methods:This study was divided into three parts:the Sinicization of the questionnaire,the evaluation of the reliability and validity of the questionnaire and the application of the questionnaire.(1)After translation and retranslation the questionnaire according to the Brislin translation model,the Chinese version of questionnaire I was formed.The Chinese version of questionnaire I was sent to the original author,and the Chinese version of Questionnaire II was modified according to original author’s opinions.Five experts in the field of medication safety were invited to adjust the questionnaire to form the Chinese version of questionnaire III.(2)A questionnaire survey was conducted among nurses who met the standard of acceptance and discharge in two Grade-A hospitals in Shenyang.The validity of the questionnaire was evaluated by expert content validity,structure validity and convergent validity,and the reliability was evaluated by content consistency reliability.(3)Self-designed general information questionnaire through literature review.The general information questionnaire and the questionnaire after reliability and validity test were used to investigate the nurses who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in two Grade-A hospitals in Shenyang.The constituent ratio was used to describe the general situation of nurses,the mean±standard deviation was used to describe the level of nurses’medication safety behavior intention,and the independent sample t-test,analysis of variance,correlation analysis and multiple regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of nurses’medication safety behavior intention.Results:(1)After being translated into Chinese,the Chinese version of Theory of planned behavior-medication safety questionnaire contains 4 dimensions,46 items were measured by liket 7 points and 4 binary items.I-CVI and S-CVI/Ave of the questionnaire were both 1.0,and the content validity of the questionnaire was good.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that X~2/df=3.364,RMSEA=0.082,CFI=0.823,IFI=0.882,NFI=0.879,TLI/NNFI=0.878,the construct validity was general.The AVE value of each variable was 0.507～0.787,with good convergence validity.The content consistency reliability of the questionnaire is 0.797,and each dimension is0.797～0.807;the split half reliability of the questionnaire is 0.791,and each dimension is 0.788～0.801,and the reliability of the questionnaire is good.(2)The scores of each dimension of the questionnaire were behavior intention 5.56±1.05,behavior attitude4.66±0.57,subjective norm 4.82±0.65 and perceived behavior control 4.75±0.74.(3)Univariate analysis results:independent sample t-test and analysis of variance showed that in the general data,the working years of nurses and whether they had received the training of communication with drug-related personnel had a significant impact on medication safety behavior intention(P<0.05).(4)Correlation analysis showed that behavioral attitude,subjective norms and perceived behavioral control were positively correlated with behavioral intention.(5)Multiple regression analysis results:behavior attitude and subjective norms entered the regression equation,and had a significant impact on the level of behavior intention(R2=0.217,adjusted R2=0.202,f=14.169,P<0.01).The two variables could explain 20.2%of the variation of behavior intention level.Conclusion:(1)the Chinese version of theory of planned behavior medication safety questionnaire was applied to investigate the behavior intention of nurses in the tertiary A-level hospital of Shenyang.The results showed that the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were good,and it can be used to evaluate the level of medication safety behavior intention of nurses.(2)The behavior attitude,subjective norm and perceived behavior control were positively correlated with nurses’medication safety behavior intention.(3)Behavior attitude and subjective norm are the influencing factors of nurses’medication safety behavior intention,which can be used to explain the variation of behavior intention. |
