[Objective]This study attempted to Construction predict structure equation model of Beijing residents to participate in blood donation behavioral intentions based on core framework of the theory of planned behavior, and provided new ideas and methods to accurately predict Beijing residents blood donation act. We had investigated the Beijing residents’.to collect data.Structural equation model was performed to investigate the relationships between each variable and blood donation intention. Finally, the results of discussion, and some counter measures of the pertinence make blood donation developmen for rapid, effective and sustainable development in our country.[Methods]This study attempted to sets up the Beijing residents’ intention of blood donation.Structural equation model, according to the theory of planned behavior through the literature review. We had design the questionnaire ourself and investigated1320residents’ intention in Beijing and the influence factors. We analysis of the relationship between each variable and blood donation intention, and inspect the structure equation model of residents’ blood donation.intention of in Beijing, through the AMOS7.0.[Results]The average score of the Beijing residents’intention of blood donation is3.60±0.816.It lays in the moderate level a little high.Blood donation behavioral intentions can be explained51.5%(R2=51.5%) of the total variance with attitude of blood donation, subjective norm, perceived control and past behavior.Standard path coefficient between the variables:attitude of blood donation(b=0.213; p<0.001),subjective norm(b=0.152;p<0.05),perceived control(b=0.665;p<0.001) and past behavior(b=0.061; p<0.05).There is significant differences between the four variables and the behavioral intentions of blood donation. But there is no significant influence between the knowledge about blood donation and the behavioral intentions of blood donation(b=0; p=0.963).So the variable of the knowledge about blood donation should be deleted. The attitude of blood donation can be explained41.6%of the variation by blood donation behavioral beliefs;subjective norm can be explained22.7%of the variation by normative beliefs;perceived control can be explained8.6%of the variation by control beliefs. There are very statistically significant differences between different gender, age, occupation, education, census registe and the behavioral intentions of blood donation.[Conclusions]The building modelt which the structure equation model of Beijing residents blood donation behavioral intentions basing on the theory of planned behavior to predict blood donation act has a good ability to predict intention, and can be used to explain Beijing residents’ blood donation behavior intention. The model have four variables for positive influence to the behavioral intentions of blood donation. It is the strongest relationship between perceived control and blood donation behavior intention, Blood donation attitude take second place; Subjective standard of again; past behavior is the last. Behavioral beliefs, normative beliefs and control beliefs had direct impact respectively on attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control. The Beijing residents’ intention of blood donation lays in the moderate level a little high.In addition, gender, age, occupation, education, census register have significant impacts on blood donation behavioral intentions.
