| ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effects of compound Mufurong nasal ointment combined with modified Qingzao-Jiu Fei Decoction in the treatment of nasal haggard in the syndrome of dryness invading lung.Explore the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)oral-topical treatment in nasal haggard and search for more effective ways for its clinical treatment.Method60 patients were selected from the patients who visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese medicine from June2020 to March 2021 and met diagnosis criteria of dry rhinitis,and nasal haggard in the syndrome of dryness invading lung based on TCM syndrome differentiation.All subjects were randomized into 2 groups at a ratio of 1:1.Patients in the treatment group received a combination of compound Mufurong nasal ointment and modified Qingzao-Jiu Fei Decoction.In the control group,patients were treated with compound Mufurong nasal ointment only.All patients were instructed to have a return visit every 7 days and the observation period was 14 days.All scores in each group were collected at baseline,7 days after treatment and end of treatment to observe the clinical efficacy.Result1.After the treatment,the overall effective rate of the control group and the treatment group was 76.67% and 90% respectively,which was significantly different(P<0.05).2.Comparing within the group,symptoms and signs of the 2 groups improved after treatment.3.Comparing between 2 groups,all efficacy measures except nasal obstruction and nasal burning were significantly different(P < 0.05)after treatment.Conclusion1.The combination of compound Mufurong nasal ointment and modified Qingzao-Jiu Fei Decoction was quite effective in treating nasal haggard in the syndrome of dryness invading lung.2.The combination of compound Mufurong nasal ointment combined with modified Qingzao-Jiu Fei Decoction was better than compound Mufurong nasal ointment only.And both symptoms and signs recovered not only better but also faster. |
