Effect Of Bufei Huoxue Capsule On Acute Aggravation In Patients With Stable Stage Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease And Study On Taking Method

Objective1.To investigate the effect of Bufei Huoxue Capsule on acute aggravation of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in stable period;to observe COPD clinical trial results combined with its assessment score,6-minute walking test,TCM syndrome score,MMRC grades and lung function;to evaluate the anti-inflammatory mechanism of Bufei Huoxue Capsule combined with its effect on serum LT-B4,NF-κB and Ig G.2.Considering liver toxicity of Psoralen in Bufei Huoxue Capsules and the situation that patients with stable COPD need long-term medication,the paper aims to explore the effectiveness and safety of Bufei Huoxue Capsules under long-term medication conditions.Methods1.This study was a randomized,double-blind,placebo parallel controlled trial.Patients who got chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)in stable period and had been admitted in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2019 to December 2019 were subjected in this study.They were divided into two groups according to random number table: trial group and control group.The experimental group was given Bufei Huoxue Capsule and the control group was given Bufei Huoxue capsule placebo.During this process,acute exacerbation times of patients,their CAT score,6-minute walking experiment,TCM syndrome score,m MRC index,lung function level as well as the data of serum LT-B4、NF-κB、Ig G were collected to evaluate the clinical effects of Bufei Huoxue Capsule.2.In order to explore the ways to take Bufei Huoxue Capsule of patients with COPD in a table period,self controlled study method was used to observe the efficacy,safety and compliance of patients who took Bufei Huoxue Capsule under different drug conditions.ResultsIn the first part,30 patients were admitted and 26 of them completed the study.12 patients were in the trial group and 14 patients were in the control group.During the intervention period,there was statistically significant difference between the trial group and experimental group in terms of the number of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,CAT score,6-minute walking distance,major symptom score(cough,expectoration,shortness of breath),shortness of breath),minor symptoms(chest tightness,fatigue,susceptible to colds),total score of TCM syndromes,and LT-B4 、 NF-κB 、 Ig G.However,there was no statistical difference in m MRC index and lung function level.In the second part,15 patients were subjected by taking itself before-after controlled trial method.Among of them,15 cases were in the control group and 15 were from experimental group.1.By comparing the clinical efficacy of different medication methods,it can be seen that the difference between the experimental group and the control group in reducing the number of acute exacerbation and expectoration integral is statistically significant.Additionally,the experimental group had statistical significance in reducing the CAT score,cough,expectoration,chest tightness,fatigue,and possibility to catch cold,while the control group only had the statistical significance in the cough,the chest tightness.2.There was no significant difference in liver function between the experimental group and the control group,and the incidence of adverse events was 0.3.The compliance of the patients in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group in terms of different medication methods.Conclusion1.Bufei Huoxue Capsule can not only reduce the acute COPD attack on patients with Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome but also can alleviate their clinical symptoms,reduce CAT score and prolong 6 MWD so that their life quality can be improved.At the same time,the clinical efficacy of patients can be enhanced by reducing TCM syndrome scores,down-regulating the levels of inflammatory factors LT-B4 and NF-κB,as well as increasing Ig G levels.2.During the initial exploration about the different methods and safety of taking Bufei Huoxue Capsule,it can be found that patients have higher compliance if they take the medicine 3 times a day and 4 capsules once than the method of 3 times a day,and 2 weeks of intermittent administration.Meanwhile,it can ensure the curative effect and safety of the patients.
