Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Acute Exacerbation Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (phlegm-heat Stagnation In The Lungs) With A Self-prescribed Qingfei Huatan Huoxue Recip

Objective:To observe and explore the clinical efficacy and safety of Qingfei Huatan Huo xue Recipe in treating patients with phlegm-heat stagnation of lung syndrome in acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Methods:60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with basic western medicine,while the observation group was treated with Qingfei Huatan Huo xue Recipe on the basis of the treatment of the control group,with a course of 10 days.The scores of TCM syndromes,FEV₁%pred,CAT and changes of PaO₂ and PaCO₂ markers in blood gas analysis were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:1.There is no significant difference between the two groups in general data of patients,such as gender,age,pulmonary function grade and course of disease（P>0.05）,and the study is comparable.2.After treatment,the total effective rates of observation group and control group were96.7%and 86.7%respectively,and the effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group（P<0.05）.3.After treatment,the syndrome scores of patients in both groups decreased,and the observation group had better effect according to the improvement of scores（P<0.05）.4.After treatment,the CAT scores of the patients in both groups decreased,and the CAT scores of the observation group decreased more significantly than those of the control group（P<0.05）.5.After treatment,FEV₁%pred in both groups were improved compared with that before treatment,and the improvement of pulmonary function in observation group was more obvious,and the curative effect was better than that in control group（P<0.05）.6.After treatment,the indexes of PaO₂ and PaCO₂ in the blood gas analysis of patients in both groups are better than those before treatment,and the indexes of observation group after treatment are better than those of control group（P<0.05）.Conclusion:Conventional western medicine combined with Qingfei Huatan Huoxue recipe can improve the clinical efficacy and safety in treating patients with phlegm-heat stagnation of lung syndrome in acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
