With the rapid development of economy and society,diversified social development and the growing demand for health,the health industry market is booming,and the competition in the medical industry is becoming more and more fierce.In the face of the increasing number of private medical institutions and the expansion of public hospitals,the flow of talents in public hospitals is active.In the course of healthy and stable development of the hospital,human resources are always the most valuable and critical strategic resources,and also an important guarantee to maintain the core competitiveness of the hospital.In the final analysis,the competition of the hospital is the competition of talents.At the same time of attracting talents,how to retain talents has become a major issue for the development of hospitals.Focusing on the theme of brain drain(active turnover)in public hospitals,this paper investigates the actual situation of brain drain in Sichuan public hospitals in recent years,analyzes the influencing factors of brain drain in Sichuan public hospitals with the help of price-Mueller(2000)turnover model,further analyzes the causes of brain drain in public hospitals,and puts forward corresponding policy suggestions.Firstly,the development of public hospitals and the allocation of human resources in Sichuan Province in recent years were obtained and analyzed through literature review;The data and information of staff turnover in some hospitals over the years were obtained through institutional investigation,and the structure of actual staff turnover was analyzed.Secondly,through theoretical research,this paper selects price-Mueller(2000)employee turnover model to study the influencing factors of employee turnover in public hospitals,and issues questionnaires to employees of four public hospitals to collect relevant sample data of influencing factors of employee turnover.By means of descriptive analysis,one-way ANOVA,simple correlation analysis,regression analysis and other methods,this paper tests the relationship between the influencing factors and turnover intention of public hospital employees in Sichuan Province,and then summarizes that the main influencing factors of hospital employees’ turnover are salary,general training and leadership mode,and further discusses the reasons for turnover.Finally,according to the analysis of the causes of brain drain,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions: to build a reasonable salary incentive system,improve the training management system,pay attention to two-way communication,improve employee job satisfaction,pay attention to personality development,enhance employee organizational commitment,scientifically plan employee career development,and actively create a sustainable development environment for the hospital.This paper not only has the real data of hospital employees’ turnover in recent years,but also has the turnover intention data obtained from the optimized price-Mueller(2000)model survey.The research on the current situation of turnover is combined with the empirical analysis of turnover.On this basis,it puts forward more targeted strategies to prevent the active turnover of public hospitals,which not only provides practical reference for stabilizing the talent team of public hospitals in Sichuan Province,It can also be used for reference by other medical and health institutions.
