Objective:The purpose of this study was to build a scientific,reasonable,practical and suitable teaching syllabus for Chinese nursing postgraduates on the basis of foreign nurse prescription education system,combined with the background of nursing education in China,and according to the principles of syllabus construction,so as to provide a certain reference for Chinese Nursing Postgraduates in drug prescription education,and determine the teaching objectives Objective to provide reference for the teaching of drug prescription of nurses.Methods:1.Literature research methodThe literature related to nurses’ prescribing education was searched in domestic and foreign databases and its references were traced.The official websites of famous foreign universities were searched for contents related to nurse drug prescription education to understand the current situation of nurse drug prescription education at home and abroad.Combining the current situation of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education in China,the first draft of the syllabus of the course "Nurse Drug Prescription" for nursing master students was prepared.2.Semi-structured interviewAccording to the inclusion criteria for experts,two experts each from medical schools and tertiary hospitals who were engaged in clinical medicine,nursing and pharmacy,a total of six experts,were selected for semi-structured interviews.The results of the interviews were collated and analysed,and the first round of consultation questionnaires for the syllabus of the course"Nurse Drug Prescription"for postgraduate nursing students were revised after group discussions.3.Modified Delphi methodA total of 30 experts from medical schools and tertiary hospitals inside and outside the province who are engaged in clinical medicine,nursing and pharmacy were invited to conduct expert consultation on the content of the syllabus of "Nurse Drug Prescription" for nursing master students,and the results of the consultation were statistically analyzed to arrive at the final results.4.Statistical methodsBased on the consultation results,an EXCEL database was created and SPSS 26.0software was used to calculate the mean,standard deviation,coefficient of variation,positive coefficient of experts,authority coefficient and coordination coefficient.The weights of each content in the syllabus were determined and the correlation coefficient was applied to evaluate the reliability of the syllabus.Results:1.The representativeness of experts is good,and the consultation results are reliableThe basic profile of the experts shows that they come from different fields and have a high level of education and rich working experience,and are well represented.The positive coefficients of the two rounds of expert consultation were 86.67% and 100%,the authority coefficients were 0.837 and 0.850,and the coordination coefficients were 0.740 and 0.135 respectively(p < 0.001).This shows that the level of attention and recognition of the subject by experts is high,and all experts agree on this syllabus in a relatively consistent manner,and the results of the consultation are reliable.2.Teaching syllabus of "Nurse Drug Prescription" for master of nursing studentsAfter two rounds of expert consultation to analyse and discuss the results of the consultation,the syllabus of "Nurse Drug Prescription" was finally established for postgraduate nursing students,which covers six course sections: introduction to the course,diagnostics,pharmacotherapy,relevant laws and regulations,ethics of treatment and drug management,and course assessment.There are 18 course contents in these six sections(including 91 lecture contents and 2 assessment contents),and the corresponding course objectives and the number of credit hours are set according to the teaching contents,with a total of 116 credit hours(1 credit hour = 50 min),and in addition,teaching methods such as lecture,case study,PBL,presentation method,flipped classroom,and high simulation teaching in the laboratory have been determined.3.Weighting of taught courses in the syllabusThe weighting of the six modules in the syllabus(introduction to the course,diagnostics,pharmacotherapy,relevant laws and regulations,ethics of treatment and drug management,and course assessment)is 0.145,0.169,0.178,0.165,0.173,and 0.165.The weighting of the other modules is not very different,except for chapter 1,introduction to the course,which has a lower weighting and a greater difference in weighting than the other modules.4.The reliability and validity of the syllabusThe internal reliability of the syllabus is 0.589,0.848,0.890,0.707 and 0.827,except for the first module "Introduction to the Course",the internal reliability of all the modules and the chapters included in the syllabus is 0.589,0.848,0.890,0.707 and 0.827,and the internal reliability of all the chapters is good except for chapter 2,which has poor reliability between its two sections.The correlation between the content of these six chapters and the content of the sections included in each chapter is good,indicating that this syllabus has good reliability and validity.Conclusion:This study used the Delphi method to determine a scientific and reliable syllabus for the course "Nurse Drug Prescription" for nursing master students;the syllabus is comprehensive and rich in content,reasonable in structure and hierarchy,with good reliability,high in scientificity and reliability,and can provide a reference basis for the education of drug prescription for nurses in nursing master students in China. |
