| The aging population is in the stage of rapid growth in China.Elderly care has become the livelihood issue that all walks of life are widely concerned about.The weakening of family elderly care has intensified the complexity and gravity of the aging problem.Traditional family elderly care can no longer serve as an effective mode to settle the issue of elderly care.The conflict between the supply of medical services and demand for elderly care has brought new challenges to the current medical and elderly care service system.From the perspective of general health for all,as a new elderly care concept,the institutional elderly care mode combining medicine with elderly healthcare has brought new hope to the Chinese-style elderly care.On the NPC & CPPCC of 2018,National Health Commission formally took the combination of medicine with elderly healthcare as its key working item,which has played an important guiding role in promoting the nation-wide popularization and implementation of the combination of medicine with elderly healthcare.For disabled and semi-disabled elderly,the institutional elderly care mode combining medicine with elderly healthcare gives top priority to their long-term elderly healthcare needs,relies on the elderly care institutions combining medicine with elderly healthcare,focuses on satisfying the rehabilitation and recuperation needs of the elderly group with special difficulties,and provides comprehensive rehabilitation and recuperation services.For most elderly people who can take care of themselves,institutional elderly care mode combining medicine with elderly healthcare is a shift in elderly care thinking.Its realization forms are not limited to elderly care institutions.It can also establish healthy elderly care archives through cooperation with community healthcare service centers to extend the home-based elderly care service network to cover each senior citizen at home.For Lianyungang City,the combination of medicine with elderly healthcare can not only satisfy elderly people’s dual needs for medical treatment and elderly care,but also effectively settle the social conflicts caused by the problem of elderly care.This thesis tries to adopt such research methods as questionnaire survey and case interview,takes Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,public goods theory,and welfare pluralism as the guidance,investigates the implementation of the elderly care combining medicine with elderly healthcare institutions in Lianyungang city.Then,the thesis classifies the elderly care combining medicine with elderly healthcare institutions in Lianyungang city into three categories:adding of medical services to elderly care institutions,provision of elderly care services at medical institutions,and cooperative building between elderly care institutions and medical institutions and analyzes the development status of each category.The thesis figures out the problems in the process of implementation,deeply analyzes the reasons for the emergence of such problems,and proposes targeted countermeasure suggestions in line with the reality in Lianyungang city.In summary,to achieve the popularization and implementation of the elderly care combining medicine with elderly healthcare institutions in Lianyungang city,we must take the following measures for improvement:strengthening professional medical team building,stepping up support for institutions combining medicine with elderly healthcare,establishing a government-dominated system with multi-party participation,and building a supervision and evaluation system combining medicine with elderly healthcare. |
