Objectives:Taking full-time male college students in Baoding city as the object of the study,to understand the cognitive status of Human Papilloma Virus(HPV)and the willness of vaccination, and analysis the possible influencing factors. To provide the field with the knowledge and data, provide the basis for subsequent intervention study, and for HPV vaccine provides some references for the further popularization and application in our country. Methods:In this study, stratified and cluster random sampling method was used for sampling, and a self-designed questionnaire based on the Health and Belief Model was used as a survey tool.A cross-sectional survey was conducted on four universities in Baoding City from August2020 to November through the method of questionnaire survey on line.SPSS25.0 statistical software package was used for data description and statistical analysis.Descriptive statistical analysis,t-test,chi-square test and Binary Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of male college students’health beliefs about HPV infection and HPV vaccination willingness.Results:1.A total of 1369 questionnaires were received,of which 1192 were valid, with a recovery rate of 87.4%.2.The awareness rate of male college students about HPV was 45.5%,and the knowledge of HPV was at a low level. The male college students who were willing to be vaccinated against HPV accounted for 54.8%of the total.3..The scores of male college students’health beliefs were 2.78±1.28,3.25±1.46,3.75±0.92,3.00±1.01 and 3.51±1.09,respectively,for perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefit, perceived obstacle and self-efficacy.The results showed that the level of male college students’health beliefs about HPV infection prevention was in the middle level and needed to be further improved.4.The results of logistic regression analysis showed that place of birth, living cost, the highest education level of parents,HPV cognition, perceived severity, perceived benefit and perceived barrier were the influencing factors of HPV vaccination intention.Cox&Snell R~2was 0.420,and Nagelkerke R~2was 0.570,indicating that the introduced variables had a strong correlation with the dependent variables. Conclusions:Male college students have a lower level of knowledge about HPV,but a higher willingness to vaccinate.Factors that influenced willingness to vaccinate against HPV included cost of living, maximum parental education,HPV knowledge awareness, perceived severity, perceived impairment, and perceived benefit. We should from the perspective of HPV infection health beliefs, focuse on the perceived severity, perceived benefits and perceived barriers to improve their health beliefs, targeted health education, improve the degree of knowledge of HPV awareness,to promote their vaccination intentions.
