| Purpose:To evaluate the effect of exercise intervention on improving upper limb function of patients with mild to moderate Parkinson’s disease through Wuqinxi and stretching exercises, and to provide a valuable theoretical basis and reference basis for formulating exercise prescriptions for Parkinson’s disease.Methods:60 patients with mild to moderate Parkinson’s disease(H-Y stage is 1-3) who meet the inclusion criteria were recruited, and 58 of them signed informed consent and passed the baseline test.A total of 58 patients with mild to moderate Parkinson’s disease(H-Y stage is 1-3)signed informed consent and passed the baseline test. They were blinded and randomly divided into Wuqinxi group(n=29) and stretching group(n= 29)Two groups,of which 46 patients completed the study. The subjects were divided into the Wuqinxi group(n=23)and the stretching group(n=23).All subjects met the inclusion and exclusion criteria and signed informed consent form;this research protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of Shanghai University of Sport. The two intervention groups carried out a 12-week exercise intervention experiment, and they practiced collectively twice a week on the spot, and the duration of each exercise was 60 minutes. The main observation indicators of this study are upper limb motor function, including hand function dexterity and upper limb functional fitness, including hand function(using Purdue Pegboard test,Soda Pop test to evaluate),upper limb functional fitness(The Senior Fitness test was used for evaluation). All tests were performed before the intervention and after the 12-week intervention;on the basis of the pre-and post-intervention tests,a single pre-and post-intervention test of hand function indicators was also performed. All data were statistically analyzed using SPSS 22.0 software, and the normal distribution of the data was checked using the Shapiro-Wilk test.Two-way analysis of variance(ANOVA)was used to analyze the results of the two groups before and after the exercise intervention, and the difference between the two groups before and after the intervention was analyzed using the paired sample t test.P value<0.05 is considered statistically significant.Results:1)In terms of the test results of the Purdue Pegboard test,in the dominant hand task and non-dominant hand task of the Wuqinxi group after a single exercise intervention, the number of nail insertions within 30 seconds was significantly increased. In the assembly task,60 seconds The total number of assembly parts within the same group has also been significantly increased(P<0.05);while in the nondominant hand task and the both-hand task, the number of nails within 30 s of the stretching group has been significantly increased, and the assembly task also has a significant increase(P< 0.05);There was a significant difference between the two groups in the both-hand task before and after a single intervention in the Wuqinxi group and the stretching exercise group(P<0.05).Participants in the Wuqinxi group had a significant increase in the number of nail insertion within 30 s in the dominant hand task and two-hand task after the 12-week exercise intervention, and the total number of assembly parts within 60 s of the assembly task also increased significantly(P<0.05);And before and after the 12-week intervention in the stretching exercise group, the subjects had no significant improvement in the four test tasks of the Purdue pegboard test(P>0.05);There was a significant difference between the two groups in the number of nails inserted by both hands(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the groups in the other three test tasks(P>0.05);2)As for the results of the Soda Pop test, the scores of the two groups of subjects were significantly improved(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference between the groups(P>0.05);3)In terms of Senior Fitness test results, participants in the Wuqinxi group had a significant improvement in their right hand back stretching performance after 12 weeks of exercise intervention,a significant improvement in their left and right 30 s arm curl tests(P<0.05);while in the stretching group, only the back stretching test scores of the right hand(P <0.05)were significantly improved;the difference between the groups was not significant(P>0.05).Conclusions:12-week Wuqinxi intervention can effectively improve the upper limb motor function of patients with mild to moderate Parkinson’s disease;Wuqinxi training has a better effect on improving the fine motor ability and upper limb functional fitness of patients with mild to moderate Parkinson’s disease. |
