Objective: By observing the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with thermosensitive moxibustion, the correlation between the qi produced by moxibustion and the clinical effect was discussed. Methods: A total of 90 patients with lumbar disc herniation were included in this study.Moxibustion feeling method was used to explore the most obvious thermal sensitive point of moxibustion feeling in the triangle area formed by bilateral Dachangshu and Yaosu(Dachangshu-Yaoshu-opposite Dachangshu),and the single point of mild suspension moxibustion was carried out until the moxibustion feeling disappeared, once a day,a total of10 times. After each treatment, the score of moxibustion qi was recorded immediately.Effectively, the Japanese Orthopaedic Society(JOA)low back pain scale and VAS pain score were used to evaluate the efficacy. The evaluation points were before treatment and after 10 treatments. The overall efficacy evaluation indexes were the criteria for recovery, remarkable effect, effectiveness and ineffectiveness formulated in accordance with the Criteria for Efficacy in Diagnosis of Diseases and Syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which were evaluated once after the end of all treatments.According to the different strength of moxibustion,it was divided into three groups: strong, medium and weak, and the relationship between different strength of moxibustion and the curative effect was compared.Results:1.Comparison of general conditions:Statistical analysis of gender, age and disease course of patients in the two groups showed no statistical significance(P>0.05),indicating comparability;2.Comparison of JOA scores before and after treatment: there was no significant difference in JOA scores of patients before treatment, which was comparable(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences between the three groups before and after treatment in self-comparison and pairwise comparison between groups after treatment(P <0.01).There were significant differences between group A and group B and group C(P<0.01).There was significant difference between group B and group C(P<0.01).After treatment, the JOA score of group A had the highest improvement, group B was the second, and group C was the worse.3.Comparison of VAS pain index: there was no significant difference in the VAS pain index of the three groups before treatment, which was comparable(P>0.05).There were statistical differences between the three groups before and after treatment and pairwise comparison between the three groups(P<0.01).There were significant differences between group A and group B and group C(P<0.01).There was significant difference between group B and group C(P<0.01).After treatment, the JOA score of group A had the highest improvement, group B was the second, and group C was the worse.4.Overall efficacy comparison: there was statistical significance in the overall efficacy comparison among the three groups(P<0.05).The overall efficacy of the three groups was compared pairwise, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of group A was the highest, group B was the second, and group C was the worse. Conclusion:The qi degree of thermosensitive moxibustion is positively correlated with the clinical efficacy, and the more obvious the qi degree is,the better the efficacy is.Thermal sensitive moxibustion with different degrees of gas is effective in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation, which can improve the pain, overall symptoms, signs, daily life and improve the function of the lumbar spine. |
