Objective: To investigate the risk factors of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with metabolism-related fatty liver disease, and the predictive effect of VFA and serum Asprosin on metabolism-related fatty liver disease. Methods: Selecting 182 patients with T2 DM who were admitted to Affiliated Nanhua Hospital,University of South China from January 2020 to January 2021 as the research subjects. They are divided into T2 DM group(N=66)and T2 DM with MAFLD group(N=116).Height,weight,waist circumference, blood biochemical, visceral fat area, glucose and lipid metabolism indexes are collected and recorded.Serum Asprosin level is determined,BMI,HOMA-IR,HOMA-β and other indexes are calculated, and then SPSS 23.0 software is used for statistical analysis.Results:1.BMI,waist circumference and body fat percentage in MAFLD group are significantly higher than those in T2 DM group(P <0.05).2.The fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,Hb A1 c,fasting C-peptide,fasting insulin,ALT,AST,GT,ALP,Ch E and HOMAIR of the MAFLD group are much higher than the T2 DM group(P<0.05),and there is no statistically significant difference in blood lip id between the two groups.3.Asprosin concentration and visceral fat area in MAFLD group is significantly higher than that in T2 DM group(P <0.01).4.The visceral fat area is independent related factors of Asprosin.5.Binary Logistic regression analysis shows that serum Asprosin(OR=1.009,P=0.028)、HOMA-IR(OR=6.009,P=0.029)、VFA(OR=1.023,P=0.009)、Hb A1c(OR=1.294,P=0.046)are risk factors for T2 DM with MAFLD;6.ROC curve analysis results:Serum Asprosin and visceral fat area have certain accuracy in the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with metabolism-related fatty liver disease. Conclusion:Asprosin and VFA are independent risk factors for T2 DM with MAFLD,which play a certain role in predicting T2 DM with MAFLD.
