The Clinical Observation On The Cupping Triple Therapy In The Treatment Of Prurigo Nodularis

ObjectiveTo observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy of Cupping triple therapy and halometasone cream in the treatment of Prurigo Nodularis,and discuss the effect of cupping triple therapy on improving the skin lesion and relieve itching,which can provide theoretical basis for clinical application of cupping triple therapy in treating Prurigo Nodularis.Methods60 patients with Prurigo Nodularis were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with cupping triple therapy(cupping therapy+acupuncture+infrared therapy),which was applied to acupoints on the du meridian and the bladder meridian once a week for 8 weeks.In the control group,only halometasone cream was applied to the affected area,twice a day for the first 1-2 weeks,and then the dose was decreased every 2 weeks.The control group also was treated for 8 weeks.The regression of skin lesion,the degree of itching and the comprehensive scores of 2 groups were observed and data above were analyzed with SPSS 20.0.ResultsAfter 8 weeks of treatment,compared with before treatment,the levels of skin lesion severity,itching degrees and comprehensive scores of the two groups decreased significantly,and the difference between before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),which showed that cupping triple therapy and halometasone cream could improve the symptoms of Prurigo Nodularis.The levels of skin lesion severity,itching degrees and integral scores of the treatment group were significantly better than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00%,including 2 cases of cure,15 cases of obvious effect,10 cases of effective effect,3 cases of no effect.The total effective rate of the control group was 76.67%,including 1 case of cure,5 cases of obvious effect,17 cases of effective effect,7 cases of no effect.The two groups were compared in the treatment of nodular urticaria,the difference of two groups’ comprehensive evaluation on curative effect was statistically significant,indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group.ConclusionThe cupping triple therapy has clear clinical effect in treating Prurigo Nodularis,and it has obvious effect in improving skin lesion and relieving pruritus.
