Objective: To observe the clinical effect of acupoint embedding combined with self-designed Qu Feng Xiao Xun Tang and oral administration of levocetirizine hydrochloride in the treatment of chronic urticaria caused by blood deficiency and wind. Methods: In the study,60 patients with chronic urticaria with blood deficiency and wind were selected and included, which were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 patients each. The treatment group received acupoint catgut embedding combined with self-designed therapy of Qu Feng Xiao Xun Tang.Acupoint catgut embedding was performed once a week and 200 ml of Chinese traditional medicine was taken internally twice a day for 4 weeks. The control group received levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets once a day,10 mg each time, for a total of4 weeks. The 1st、2nd、3rd、4th and 12 th weeks after treatment,wind-ball,the size of wind-ball and the degree of pruritus of the patients were observed and recorded for 5 times. The changes of eosinophil before and after treatment were analyzed, and the efficacy of the two groups in different time periods were compared.Results:1.The treatment group markedly effective in 23 cases, effective in 6cases,ineffective in 1 case, the total effective rate was 96.7%.The control group markedly effective in 11 cases, effective in 12 cases, ineffective in 6cases,the total effective rate was 88.3%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.There were significant differences between the treatment group and the control group in the degree of pruritus, the size of wind cluster, and the total score after treatment(P < 0.05),indicating that acupoint catgut embedding combined with traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of urticaria can effectively alleviate the symptoms.3.After 12 weeks of treatment, the difference in the percentage of eosinophils between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving the percentage of eosinophils. This study suggests that the mechanism of acupoint catgut embedding combined with internal administration of traditional Chinese medicine may be to effectively control the release of inflammatory cytokines and apoptotic cells so as to reduce the disease-inducing factors.Conclusion:1.Acupoint catgut embedding conjunction with Qu Feng Xiao Xun Tang orally used in the treatment of chronic urticaria is superior to the control group in the near and middle stages.2.Acupoint embedding conjunction with Qu Feng Xiao Xun Tang was better than the control group in reducing the percentage of eosinophils.3.Acupoint embedding conjunction with Qu Feng Xiao Xun Tang has better clinical efficacy, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
