Clinical Observation On Treating Bronchiolitis Of Phlegm Dampness Obstructing Lung Type With Wenfei Huatan Decoction Combined With Infantile Massage

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Wenfei Huatan Decoction combined with infantile massage in the treatment of bronchiolitis(phlegm dampness obstructing lung type).Methods: Sixty hospitalized children who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups,30 in each group.The control group was given routine treatment such as etiology,atomization inhalation and expectorant drugs,while the treatment group was given Wenfei Huatan Decoction and infantile massage on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy and safety of Wenfei Huatan Decoction Combined with infantile massage in the treatment of bronchiolitis(phlegm dampness obstructing lung type)were observed by observing the changes of symptom and sign scores and auxiliary examination results before and after treatment for 7 days.Results: The cure rates of the control group and the treatment group were13.33% and 30% respectively,and the total effective rates were 90% and 96.67%respectively.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);There were significant differences between the two groups in the scores of cough,sputum between larynx,mental state,red throat,appetite and the total scores of symptoms and signs(P < 0.05).No obvious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups,and the safety was good.Conclusion: The application of Wenfei Huatan Decoction combined with infantile massage in the treatment of bronchiolitis(phlegm dampness obstructing lung type)has higher cure rate,total effective rate and more significant clinical curative effect,which can better improve the symptoms and signs of children,especially in cough,throat phlegm,mental state,red throat,appetite and other aspects.The safety of this method is good,which is worthy of reference and promotion in clinical work.
