Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of the addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in treating insomnia caused by phlegm and blood stasis, and combine the relevant knowledge of the theory of the doctrine of five evolutive phases and six climatic factors to adjust the specific prescription and medication,so as to provide more clinical treatment for insomnia caused by phlegm and blood stasis. Methods:The cases in this study were derived from patients with insomnia caused by phlegm and blood stasis in the geriatric clinic of Jilin Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine(Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine)from January 2020 to February 2021.There were 72 cases in total.According to the random number table, they were divided into treatment group and control group, with 36 cases in each group. The treatment group was given oral administration of the addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction for treatment, and the control group was given oral diazepam for treatment. The course of treatment was 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, the scores were scored by the TCM Syndrome Score Scale and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scale, and statistical software was used to calculate the data to obtain the corresponding results, and then judge and analyze the clinical effect of the addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the treating insomnia caused by phlegm and blood stasis. Results:Both the treatment group and the control group completed a 4-week clinical treatment. There was no drop-off case in the treatment group, and 1 case in the control group was lost to follow-up.Therefore,36 cases in the treatment group and 35 cases in the control group were finally completed. The comparison between the two groups of patients in terms of gender, age, and disease course was not statistically significant(P>0.05),so the studies of the two groups are comparable. Before treatment, the TCM syndromes and sleep conditions of the two groups of patients were compared, and the results were not statistically significant(P>0.05),suggesting that there is no difference between the two groups before treatment,so the next step can be continued. After treatment, the improvement of TCM syndromes was statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05),suggesting that there are differences between the two groups, indicating that the addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction is better than diazepam in improving TCM syndromes. In terms of sleep, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that there was no difference between the two groups, indicating that the clinical effects of the addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction and diazepam were roughly the same in improving the sleep of patients. After treatment, the two groups of patients were compared with their pre-treatment conditions, and the results were statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that the two groups had improved TCM syndromes and sleep quality after the medication, indicating that the addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction and diazepam can play a better clinical effect in the treatment of insomnia. In terms of total effective rate, the treatment group and the control group were respectively 88.89% and 82.86% in TCM syndromes, which were statistically significant(P<0.05);while in the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score, they were 86.11% and85.71%,respectively,no statistical significance(P>0.05).It can be seen that the addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction has a better effect on improving TCM syndromes, and in terms of sleep conditions, the effect of the addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction is roughly the same as that of diazepam. Therefore,on the whole, the clinical efficacy of the addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the treatment of insomnia caused by phlegm and blood stasis in the treatment group is better than the clinical efficacy of diazepam in the treatment of insomnia caused by phlegm and blood stasis in the control group. Conclusion:The addition and subtraction of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction can effectively treat insomnia caused by phlegm and blood stasis, and can significantly improve the TCM syndromes and sleep conditions of insomnia patients. The curative effect is stable and stable, and the safety is high.It is worthy of further promotion and research.
