Objective:This study aims to explore the clinical efficacy of blade acupuncture in the treatment of external humeral epicondylitis.By comparing with the conventional acupuncture group, observe the grip index and pain visual simulation of blade acupuncture in the treatment of external humeral epicondylitis. The changes in the score(VAS)and the elbow joint function score(MEPS)are expected to provide a reference for the clinical treatment of external humeral epicondylitis. Methods:The patients with external humeral epicondylitis who were admitted to Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to December 2020 were selected, and the patients were divided into the blade needle group and the acupuncture group with 31 cases each by the random number table method. The needle-knife treatment group was treated twice a week,2 times as a course of treatment, and 3 courses were treated in total. The conventional acupuncture group was treated 5 times a week with 2 days of rest, and a week was a course of treatment, with a total of 3 courses of treatment.Comparing the two groups of patients before treatment, after treatment, four weeks later, the grip strength index, pain visual analog scale(VAS),elbow joint function score(MEPS),And use SPSS20 to analyze the data obtained.result:(1)The two groups of patients were not statistically different in age, gender, and course of disease, and they were comparable(P>0.05).(2)Comparison of the grip index between the two groups of patients before and after treatment:There was no significant difference in the comparison of the grip index between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the comparison between the two groups after treatment and four weeks laterbefore treatment,The grip strength index was higher than before(P<0.05);after treatment, the grip strength index of the blade acupuncture group was significantly higher than that of the conventional acupuncture group, and the difference in the grip strength index between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);four weeks later follow-up The grip index of the blade acupuncture group was significantly higher than that of the ordinary acupuncture group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Comparison of the VAS scores of the two groups of patients before and after treatment:There was no significant difference in the VAS scores of the two groups of patients before treatment(P>0.05)after treatment and four weeks treatment, compared with before treatment in the group,The VAS score was lower than before(P<0.05);after treatment, the VAS score of the acupuncture group was significantly lower than that of the ordinary acupuncture group, and the difference in VAS scores between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);four weeks later follow-up The VAS score of the needle knife group was significantly lower than that of the ordinary acupuncture group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)The MEPS scores of the two groups of patients before and after treatment:There was no significant difference in the MEPS scores of the two groups of patients before treatment(P>0.05),and the elbow joint function scores(MEPS)of the two groups of patients after treatment and the four-week follow-up)Were higher than before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in MEPS score between the acupuncture group and the ordinary acupuncture group on the 28th day of treatment(P>0.05),and the MEPS score in the 56th acupuncture group was higher than that of the ordinary acupuncture group.Acupuncture group(P<0.05).(5)Comparison of the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients:18 cases were cured in the needle knife treatment group,10 cases were markedly effective,2 cases were effective, and 1 case was ineffective. The total effective rate was 96.77%;14 cases were cured in the conventional acupuncture group,7 cases were markedly effective, and 6 cases were effective. For example,4 cases were invalid, and the total effective rate was 87.10%.After rank sum test,P<0.05,the difference in curative effect between the two groups was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Both blade acupuncture and acupuncture can relieve the pain caused by external epicondylitis of the humerus, and have a definite effect on the recovery of elbow joint functional activities and improving grip strength.2.The short-term and long-term effects of the blade acupuncture group are better than the acupuncture group in improving grip strength.3.The blade acupuncture group is better than the acupuncture group in alleviating the pain caused by lateral epicondylitis of the humerus, and the effect of timely pain relief is better. In terms of long-term efficacy, the blade acupuncture group is also better than the acupuncture group.4.The short-term effect of blade acupuncture group and acupuncture group in improving elbow joint function is not much different, and the long-term curative effect of blade acupuncture group is better than ordinary acupuncture group.
