| Objective:To explore the quality of life and its influencing factors in adult epilepsy patients in Hainan ProvinceMethods:This study used a structured questionnaire for cross-sectional correlation studies,and included 178 cases of adult epilepsy in Hainan Province from December 2017 to December 2018 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical College,the epilepsy specialist outpatient clinic and neurology clinic and ward.Use the epilepsy registry to record the patient’s general demographic sociological and clinical data,and use face-to-face surveys to complete five questions about the patient’s health and psychological status:Mini-Mental State Examination,MMSE),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),adult patients with epilepsy Quality of Life in Epilepsy Inventory-31,QOLIE-31.Using SPSS22.0 software for statistical analysis,the factors that may affect the quality of life of patients with epilepsy univariate and multivariate analysis to determine the various factors affecting the quality of life of patients,in which between the two groups were compared using t test measurement data,Comparison of the three sets of measurement data was performed by one-way analysis of variance Finally,the scores and quality of life of all aspects of quality of life are taken as the dependent variables,and the possible influencing factors of the above single factors are used as independent variables.Multiple linear regression analysis is used,and the stepwise regression method in multiple linear regression analysis method is used.To analyze the factors that may affect the quality of life of adults with epilepsy,the main factors affecting the quality of life of adult patients with epilepsy in Hainan Province were analyzedResults:Adult patients with epilepsy Hainan QOLIL-31 scores in seven areas and total score can draw the impact of the drug the lowest score,the highest score and cognitive function.The statistical results of this study found that gender,urban and rural,regional,ethnic,marriage,education,personal income,family history,age of onset,course of disease,type of seizure,type of medication,imaging results and other related factors are not affecting the quality of life of adults with epilepsy in Hainan Province.Factors(P>0.05);occupational,family per capita income,etiology,recent one-month seizures,seizure frequency,self-reported adverse reactions,number of medications,anxiety,depression and other factors have a correlation with the quality of life of adult epilepsy patients in Hainan Province Sex(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that:predictors of quality of life,anxiety,depression,family income.The more anxiety and depression,the lower the quality of life score;the higher the household income,the higher the weight of lifeConclusion:1.Gender,urban and rural,regional,ethnic,marriage,education,personal income,family history,age at onset,course of disease,type of seizure,type of medication,and imaging findings were not factors influencing QOL in adults with epilepsy in Hainan Province2.occupation,family per capita income,etiology,nearly one month of seizures,frequency of seizures,self-reported adverse reactions,number of medications,anxiety,depression are the influencing factors of QOL in patients with epilepsy3.The factors of QOL in epilepsy in Hainan Province are mainly anxiety,depression and monthly income per capita. |
