Objective (s):application of Event Related Potentials P300 and QOLIE-31 researched cognitive function, and analyzed the influence factors of cognitive function and quality of life in patient with epilepsy.Methods:Based on the inclusion and exculusion criteria,81 cases of adults patient with epilepsy have selected from October 2015 to March 2016 in the neurology clinic of First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University; And randomly 40 healthy adults as control group were selected from gender, age to match the cases.Collected the basic information of epilepsy, and perfected the ERPs, QOLIE-31, cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), video or dynamic EEG examination;Control group completed ERPs check.Used statistical methods to analyze the difference of ERPs between the adult patient with epilepsy and control. According to ERPs,epilepsy patients can be divided into CD and no CD group, further explored the influence factors of CD and QOL in the adult patient with epilepsy.Results:1.adult epilepsy and cognition dysfunction:ERPs abnormal rate is higher than normal contral group in the adult patient with epilepsy, and mainly reflected N2, P3 latency extended in Cz point (p<0.05).Different seizure types was differented influence in cognitive function (p<0.05),in which compared with partial seizures, the partial+generalized seizures and generalized seizures are more likely to lead to cognitive dysfunction.seizures in patients with frequent episodes of relatively infrequent in patients with epilepsy are more prone to cognitive function disorder (p< 0.05).Compared with negatived EEG and cranial MRI,postived EEG and cranial MRI are more likely to appear cognitive dysfunction (p<0.05).Contrasting to consume one antiepileptic drugs, Using two or more antiepileptic drugs consume are more prone to cognitive impairment. By logistic regression analysis results show that adults patient with epilepsy seizure type, EEG abnormalities are independent risk factors of cognitive dysfunction (p<0.05),especially EEG2.The patients with CD is lower without CD in the QOLIE-31 total score, quality of life satisfaction, CF, social function and debugging the China point (p<0.05);That is to say,the patients with cognitive function have a certain impact on the quality of life.Conclusion(s):1. The patients with epilepsy had a higher incidence of cognitive dysfunction,mainly the N2 and P3 latency extended in ERPs P300;ERPs P300 is deemed to an objective evaluation of the CD.2. The factors that affected cognitive function include seizure type, frequency of seizure,abnormal electroencephalogram (EEG), cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and antiepileptic drug kinds,in which abnormal electroencephalogram (EEG) and frequency of seizure was independented risk factors among them, especially EEG.3. The adult epilepsy patients with CD is lower without CD in the QOLIE-31, mainly reflected in the quality of life satisfaction, CF, social function and debugging the China of this a few aspects.
