Clinical Study Of Auricular Acupoint Pressing Bean To Prevent And Treatnausea And Vomiting After General Thyroid Anesthesia

Objective:his study adopted the method of clinical randomized controlled trial to observe the efficacy of auricular acupoint pressure on preventing and treating nausea and vomiting after thyroid anesthesia,and to explore the feasibility and safety of auricular acupoint pressure on nausea and vomiting.Methods:In this study,a randomized controlled trial was adopted,in which 80 patients undergoing thyroid anesthesia were randomly divided into two groups with 40 patients in each group according to the Doll and S clinical case random table.The control group was given tolansetron hydrochloride(Yumin)2mg for injection within 48 hours after operation.The treatment group was given bilateral auricular acupoints pressing beans within 24 hours before surgery and 48 hours after surgery,together with antiemetic drugs in the control group(dosage and usage were the same as those in the control group).By observing the degree of postoperative nausea and vomiting,the improvement of appetite,the TCM syndrome scores of abdominal distension,pantothenic acid,belching and nausea,and the adverse reactions of antiemetic drugs in the two groups,the;curative effect of auricular acupoint pressure on the prevention and treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting after thyroid anesthesia was comprehensively evaluated.Results:In this study,the prevention and treatment effect of auricular acupoint pressure on nausea and vomiting after general thyroid anesthesia was explored.The results are as follows:(1)Prevention and treatment of nausea:According to the complete control rate of nausea 24 hours and 48 hours after surgery,the efficacy of prevention and treatment of nausea in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).(2)Prevention and control of vomiting:the complete control rate of vomiting 24 hours and 48 hours after surgery in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).(3)Improvement of appetite:there were significant differences in the complete improvement rates between the two groups 24 and 48 hours after surgery(P<0.05),and the improvement of appetite in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.(4)Improvement of TCM syndrome scores:Both groups could effectively improve the TCM syndrome scores of patients,and the longer the treatment group applied auricular acupoint pressing the bean,the more obvious the effect was(P<0.05).The TCM syndrome scores of the treatment group at 24 hours and 48 hours after surgery were lower than those of the control group,and the improvement rate was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).(5)Adverse reactions of antiemetic drugs:the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was significantly different(P<0.05),and the treatment group was lower than the control group.Conclusion:1)Ear acupoint pressing beans can effectively prevent and cure nausea and vomiting after general thyroid anesthesia,and reduce the degree of nausea and vomiting.2)Ear acupoint pressing beans can effectively improve the appetite of patients after general thyroid anesthesia.3)Ear acupoint pressure can effectively relieve abdominal distention,belching,pantothenic acid,nausea and other gastrointestinal symptoms after thyroid surgery.4)Ear acupoint pressing beans has high safety and no obvious side effects.
