| Objective: to understand the reserve of first aid knowledge and skills of normal undergraduate students and their learning attitude, and to explore the impact of different teaching methods on Undergraduate Students’ cognition of first aid knowledge and skills,And implement relevant theoretical learning and skill training to improve the first-aid knowledge and skill reserve of normal undergraduate students,in order to provide practical basis for improving the first-aid knowledge and skill reserve of normal undergraduate student. Methods: the methods of literature, interview, questionnaire, course teaching and mathematical statistics were used.Firstly, the undergraduates in Chenggong campus of Yunnan Normal University were investigated in four dimensions: basic information, first aid professional knowledge, first aid behavior and experience, and first aid training attitude,The questionnaire was compiled with reference to the 2020 American Heart Association guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and cardiovascular first aid,Chinese public rescue training course,Chinese cardiopulmonary resuscitation training course, emergency rescue training, sports soft tissue injury, and the course knowledge and skills of on-site life first aid of Chinese University MOOC;Secondly, using the mixed teaching mode composed of MOOC teaching mode, traditional teaching mode and scenario simulation teaching mode,205 students in the College of physical education of Yunnan Normal University were trained in first aid knowledge and skills for 4 weeks and 12 class hours, and the differences before and after were tested for comparison. The data were expressed by mean ± standard deviation( x ± s),median and interquartile interval(IQR,p25-p75)and percentage. They were statistically sorted by Excel 2019 and analyzed by SPSS 25.0.P <0.05,P <0.01 represent significant difference and very significant difference.Results:(1)5032 questionnaires were distributed,4819 were effective, and the effective rate was 95.77%.(2)In the first aid professional knowledge score part, the scores of normal students and non normal students were statistically different(P < 0.01),and the average scores were 7.68 ± 2.51 and 7.89 ± 2.50 respectively;the surveyed students were divided into three different groups according to their family residence: rural, township and urban, and the scores of student groups in different residence were statistically different(P < 0.01),the average scores were 7.60 ± 2.46,7.98 ± 2.53 and8.19 ± 2.56 respectively, and the scores of rural students were the lowest. The surveyed students were divided into boys and girls according to gender, and the scores of students of different genders were statistically different(P < 0.01).The average scores of boys and girls were 7.64 ± 2.55 and 7.86 ± 2.48 respectively, and the scores of boys were lower than those of girls.(3)Among the 4819 students surveyed,15.15% had experienced the need for first aid,10.60% participated in the rescue and 4.55% did not participate in the rescue. The students who participated in the rescue and did not participate in the rescue were divided into normal students and non normal students according to the student category.According to Fisher’s accurate test, there was no significant difference between them in the choice of rescue methods and the choice of reasons for not rescuing(P = 0.801 and P = 0.386).(4)19.13% of the surveyed students had received first aid training. There was no significant difference between normal students and non normal students in the number of training(P = 0.119);there was significant difference in the selection of training units(P < 0.01);there was significant difference between normal students and non normal students in the choice of reasons for not participating in training(P<0.01).(5)Among the surveyed students,7.10% thought that it was not necessary for normal students to master first-aid knowledge and skills, and 92.90% thought that it was necessary for normal students to master first-aid knowledge and skills. They were divided into normal students and non normal students according to their types. There was no significant difference in their cognition of whether normal students need to master first-aid knowledge and skills(P = 0.140);there was no statistical difference in the choice of interest in first aid training(P = 0.227);on the choice of whether to participate in the training organized by the school,5.31% of the students chose not to accept the training, and there was no statistical difference in the choice of the question between the two(P = 0.421);94.69% of the students answered the reasons why they were willing to participate in the training, and there was no statistical difference in the choice of the reasons(P = 0.079),there was no significant difference between them in the choice of learning confidence, learning attitude and attendance guarantee(P = 0.421,P = 0.910,P = 0.889).(6)Before the training,in order to ensure the training quality, the participating students were randomly divided into three groups with the same teaching methods. There was no statistical difference in the basic data of the three groups. Before the training, there was no statistical difference in the assessment score of first aid knowledge(P = 0.301).After the training, the theoretical assessment performance was significantly improved(P < 0.01),the improvement effect of operation examination results is consistent with that of other scholars.Conclusion:(1)the overall first aid knowledge and skills reserve of Undergraduates in Yunnan Normal University is low.In terms of classification, normal students are higher than non normal students, urban family students are higher than rural family groups, and girls are higher than boys.(2)Compared with similar studies, the proportion of Undergraduates in Yunnan Normal University who have never received first aid knowledge and skills training is80.87%,of which 80.68% said they did not know where to study.(3)Undergraduates of Yunnan Normal University have a high awareness of carrying out emergency knowledge and skills training.92.90% of the students believe that normal students should master emergency knowledge and skills,95.42% of the students show interest in emergency knowledge and skills training, and 94.69% of the students are willing to participate in the emergency knowledge and skills training held in the University.(4)Undergraduates of Yunnan Normal University have a good learning attitude towards the training of first aid knowledge and skills.99.83% of the 4563 students willing to participate in the on Campus Training expressed their willingness to seriously participate in the training, and 86.61% of the students promised not to be absent from the training course.(5)After the training, the reserve of first aid knowledge and skills of students in physical education undergraduate was significantly improved. |
