Although process of urbanization in China is accelerating, there will still be many people living in rural areas in the future.By the end of 2019,China’s rural residents accounted for 39.40 percent of the country’s population, according to the national bureau of statistics.Meanwhile, under the background of the information age,the application of big data provides a richer data base for the research of medical accessibility in rural areas.Considering the actual medical treatment situation of residents,it is more practical to analyze the accessibility of rural residents’ access to medical resources by multi-traffic model. In addition, the research on the equity of medical resources also attracts special attention. This paper mainly completed the following work: to obtain the medical service supply point of Dujiangyan city,to obtain the population data of each community(village)in the research area by constructing a reptile, and to establish the data set of the transportation network.Based on the land use database of Dujiangyan city in 2018,residential areas were aggregated to generate demand points for medical services. The travel cost matrix is generated in the network data set,and the accessibility of medical and health services of rural residents’ demand points under different traffic modes is calculated by the gravity-based two-step mobile search method. Finally, the equity of medical resource allocation of rural residents in Dujiangyan city was analyzed by means of location entropy and T test.Furthermore, the fairness of Dujiangyan medical institution was evaluated. The study draws the following main conclusions: The accessibility of rural medical services in the study area weakens with increasing distance from the main urban area, showing an irregular circle-like distribution. The accessibility of medical treatment and sanitation in rural settlements under different modes of transportation is quite different. There are obvious differences in the allocation of medical resources among towns and villages. However, comparing the distribution of medical and health resources in each township does not accurately reflect the differences in the medical resources available to residents. It is more objective to analyze and evaluate the medical resources available at each demand point.Due to the influence of factors such as location and transportation, the fairness of rural residents in accessing medical resources at all levels in the study area varies greatly.
