Clinical Observation Of Modified Huoluoxiaoling Decoction On Residual Symptoms After Lumbar Fusion

Objective: To evaluate the curative effect of modified Huoluoxiaoling decoction on residual symptoms after lumbar fusion,to promoting the recovery of lumbar spine function,reducing and preventing residual symptoms after lumbar fusion.Methods: This study selected 60 patients with postoperative residual symptoms(qi deficiency and blood stasis type)who were treated in the Department of Spine Surgery of Fuzhou Second Hospital from January 2020 to December 2020 and undergo lumbar fusion surgery.Randomly divided into experimental group(modified Huoluoxiaoling decoction)and control group(conventional medicine treatment)30 cases each,observe the two groups of visual analog score(VAS pain score,VAS numbness score),ODI index,lumbar spine JOA score and curative effect evaluation are respectively evaluated before treatment,2 weeks,4weeks,and 12 weeks after treatment to evaluate the improvement of the residual symptoms after lumbar fusion.All data are calculated using SPSS 26.0 in the analysis,P<0.05 was regarded as statistically significant.Results: During the follow-up period,3 cases were shed in the experimental group and 2case in the control group.There were 55 effective cases.The completion rates of the two groups were 90% and 93%,respectively.The general data of age,gender,segment,diagnosis,ASA classification,course of disease,operative level,duration of operation and blood loss of the two groups were statistically analyzed,and there was not statistically significant differences(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.There was no significant differences in visual analog score(VAS pain score,VAS numbness score),ODI index,and lumbar spine JOA score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.Comparison between groups: The was statistically significant difference in VAS pain score,VAS numbness score,ODI index,and lumbar JOA score between the two groups at 2 weeks,4 weeks,and 12 weeks after treatment(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better than the control group.Intra-group comparison: The VAS pain score,VAS numbness score,ODI index,and lumbar JOA score of the two groups were better than before treatment at 2 weeks,4 weeks,and 12 weeks after surgery,and there was statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Efficacy evaluation: The improvement rate is calculated using the JOA score of the 12 weeks after treatment and before the treatment,and the improvement rate is used to evaluate the efficacy.According to statistical analysis,the effective rates of the treatment group and the control group are 96.3% and 85.7%.After statistical analysis,There was a statistically significant differences in the efficacy evaluation of the lumbar spine function between the two groups(P<0.05).There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups of patients.Conclusion: On the basis of conventional medicine treatment after lumbar fusion surgery,the addition of modified Huoluoxiaoling decoction has a good effect on alleviating residual symptoms after lumbar fusion,and can effectively improve the postoperative lumbar function and help to improve the lumbar spine of the patient.The quality of daily life after fusion and satisfaction with the efficacy of lumbar fusion can be applied and promoted in clinical practice.
