Objective: This study aims to observe the clinical efficacy of Huoluo Xiaoling Dan combined with vertebroplasty in the treatment of pain in the distant part of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures,providing a theoretical basis and evidence-based basis for the clinical treatment of pain in the distant part of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures.Methods:From December 2020 to December 2022,88 inpatients from the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected,all of whom met the diagnosis of pain in the distant part of the osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture and the inclusion criteria of this study.The patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number method,44 patients in each group,and 85 patients were finally completed after the elimination or removal criteria,including 43 patients in the control group and 42 patients in the observation group.The patients in the two groups were treated with vertebroplasty in the control group while the operation team and perioperative nursing were the same during hospitalization and treatment;On the basis of vertebroplasty,the observation group was treated with one dose of traditional Chinese medicine decoction Huoluoxiaolingdan every day.The treatment period is2 weeks(14 days),one course of treatment is 1 week,and there are two courses of treatment.During the treatment,data were observed on the pain digital evaluation scale(VAS),dysfunction index score(ODI),and the levels of tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α)and interleukin 6(IL-6)in the serum of the two groups of patients.Finally,the data were collated and statistically analyzed with the statistical software SPSS 26.0 to compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups of treatment schemes on pain in the distant part of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture.Results: After treatment,the pain symptoms in the distant part of patients in the two groups were relieved compared with those before treatment.The effective rate in the control group was 81.39%,and the effective rate in the observation group was 95.23%.The effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,with a significant difference(P<0.05).Results of VAS score and ODI index comparison between the two groups: On the first day,the third day and the first week after treatment,the VAS score and ODI index in the two groups were significantly better than those before treatment and the previous time period(P<0.05);The VAS score and ODI index in the control group did not improve significantly after 1 week of treatment compared with that in the group after 2 weeks of treatment(P>0.05),while the VAS score and ODI index in the observation group decreased,and there was still significant difference(P<0.05);The VAS score and ODI index of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group on the 1st,3rd,1st and 2nd week after treatment(P<0.05).Results of the comparison of serum tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α)and interleukin6(IL-6)values between the two groups: The values of TNF and IL 6 in the two groups decreased significantly before treatment,after 1 week and 2weeks of treatment(P<0.05);In addition,the TNF-αand IL-6 values in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group at each time point between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.Both the modified Huoluo Xiaoling Dan combined with vertebroplasty and the simple vertebroplasty can effectively relieve the pain in the distant part of OVCF,while the modified Huoluo Xiaoling Dan combined with vertebroplasty can achieve better pain relief in a short time;2.Both the modified Huoluo Xiaoling Dan combined with vertebroplasty and the simple vertebroplasty can effectively improve the lumbar function of patients with pain in the distant part of OVCF,while the modified Huoluo Xiaoling Dan combined with vertebroplasty can achieve better functional improvement;3.Huoluo Xiaoling Dan combined with vertebroplasty can reduce the expression level of tumor necrosis factor and interleukin-6 in the serum of patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture pain in the distant part,and its mechanism may be related to it. |
