Research On Medical Security Of Prisoners In Zhengzhou Prison

Under the background of comprehensively implementing the rule of law,the construction of legal prison is the key content of prison management.As one of the basic contents of prison management,ensuring the medical power of prisoners is not only the respect for human rights,but also the end result of promoting the rule of law.From the current situation in China,the medical security funds of prisoners mainly rely on the financial support of the state,which belongs to the medical public fee system.Specifically,the prisoners’ health problems and the need for medical treatment during the rehabilitation period are all provided with basic medical security services by their prisons,so as to ensure their medical rights and life and health rights.In this paper,Taking Zhengzhou prison in Henan Province as an example,using the methods of literature review,case analysis and questionnaire survey,with the help of public goods theory,welfare pluralism theory and hierarchy of needs theory,we study the medical security of prison inmates.First of all,based on the basic situation of Zhengzhou prison hospital in Henan Province,this paper expounds the allocation of medical staff,work development and training in the prison hospital,and summarizes and sorts out the medical security situation of prisoners in Zhengzhou prison in Henan Province from the aspects of medical work process and health status of prisoners.Secondly,combined with the data collected by the questionnaire and the interview content,this paper summarizes the existing problems of medical security for prisoners in Zhengzhou prison in Henan Province from the aspects of the lack of specific implementation standards of disease treatment for prisoners,the low trust of prisoners in medical staff,medical parole,the difficulty in handling death due to illness,the lack of initiative of medical treatment for medical staff,and the lack of financial allocation for prison medical expenses It’s a matter of time.Finally,based on the analysis of the causes of the problems existing in the medical security of prisoners in Zhengzhou City,Henan Province,this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve the medical security of prisoners in Zhengzhou City,Henan Province,from the aspects of perfecting the medical system of prison hospitals,developing the security mechanism,improving the executive power of prison medical staff,strengthening the communication with prisoners,and creating a good environment for the implementation of medical security policies Countermeasures and suggestions.This paper discusses the medical security of prison inmates,hoping to provide guidance and reference for improving the medical security mechanism of Zhengzhou prison inmates in Henan Province,and also provide ideas and reference for the reform of medical security system of prison inmates in China.
