Non-suicidal self-injury(NSSI),a complex psychopathological behavior, not only brings physical injury, but also affects the development of individual psychological function. In recent years, researches on relevant factors of NSSI have become more and more comprehensive. Some researchers have gradually shifted their focus from the occurrence mechanism to function of NSSI,and found that in addition to personal characteristics, the occurrence and maintenance of NSSI is related to its function.Based on this background, the study mainly takes the two-dimensional four-function model of NSSI as the theoretical basis to discuss the mediating effect of sleep quality and the Moderating effect of family function. The questionnaires used in this study are Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index,General Functioning as a subscale of Family Assessment Device and Adolescents Self-Harm Scale.According to the questionnaire survey of 531 students, the conclusions are as follows:(1)Depressed mood, sleep quality and family function separately have a positive predictive effect on NSSI behavior;(2)Sleep quality mediates the relationship between depressed mood and NSSI;(3)Family function moderates the effect of depressed mood on self-injury.Compared with college students with good family function, the positive effect is only significant for college students with poor family function;(4)Family function moderates the mediating effect of sleep quality.Compared with college students with good family function, the mediating effect is only significant for college students with poor family function. The results of this study have certain guiding significance for the prevention of College Students’ self-injury:(1)It is suggested to pay attention to the stage screening of College Students’ psychological state;(2)Urge college students to cultivate their own living habits and improve their sleep quality;(3)Guide parents and students to communicate regularly.
