| Purpose:This study aims to conclude a better means of treatment on the gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)of heat stagnation of the liver and stomach pattern under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine theory, based on the assessment and comparison between two different treatment, simple western medicine treatment and combination of acupuncture and western medicine treatment, from the indicators of clinical efficiency ratio, general syndrome score,RDQ score,GerdQ score and the recurrence rate,so that it will provide a scientific basis for the formulation of the best treatment plan for the disease.Material and method:We select 60 cases that met the diagnostic criteria of the GERD of heat stagnation of the liver and stomach pattern and divide them into two groups by random arrangement.30 cases were treated with western medicine alone, and the other 30 cases with combination of acupuncture and western medicine. The treatment period was 6 weeks. We observe the indicators of clinical efficiency ratio, general syndrome score,RDQ score,GerdQ score and the recurrence rate before and after the treatment, and relevant safety indicators were tested to understand the drug safety.SPSS17.0 software was used for statistical processing. Results: 1.Before and after treatment: the quantitative score table and clinical indicators of the two groups of patients were both significantly improved with statistical significance(P<0.05),suggesting that both groups had curative effect.2.Before and after treatment: in terms of the effective rate, the acupuncture combined with medicine group was higher than the simple western medicine group, with statistical significance(P < 0.05),suggesting that the acupuncture combined with medicine group was better than the western medicine group in the clinical effective rate.3.Before and after treatment: as for the change of the overall symptom score, the acupuncture combined with medicine group was better than the western medicine group, with statistical significance(P < 0.05),suggesting that the acupuncture combined with medicine group was better than the simple western medicine group in improving the overall symptom score of it.4.Before and after treatment: as for the change of each single symptom score, for the symptoms of acid reflux, heartburn, retrosternal pain and epigastric burning pain, both groups had an effect, but with no significant statistical difference between groups. For the symptoms of belching or regurgitation, irritability and hunger, both groups had an effect, and the acupuncture and western medicine combination group was significantly superior to the western medicine group with statistical significance(P < 0.05).5.Before and after treatment: the recurrence rate of combined acupuncture and medicine group was lower than that of western medicine group, which had statistical significance.6.Safety: no obvious adverse reactions were observed in the two groups during the treatment, suggesting that the treatment methods of the two groups were safe and reliable. Conclusion: 1.Simple western medicine treatment and combination of acupuncture and western medicine treatment are both effective in treating GERD.2.The combination of acupuncture and medicine improved the symptoms of abdominal distension, belching or regurgitation, irritability and hunger of the patients more significantly than the simple western medicine treatment.3.The improvement of general TCM symptoms of combination of acupuncture and medicine was better than that of the western medicine group.4.The combination of acupuncture and medicine can prevent recurrence better than simple western medicine.5.The combination of acupuncture and medicine and western medicine alone are both safe and effective in the treatment. |
