| Purpose:Through the collection of ancient books on the treatment of lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans related prescription records and the literature related to the treatment in modern journals,and summed up the ancient and modern literature on the treatment of lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans of drug law.this paper mainly analyzes the similarities and differences between ancient and modern doctors on the understanding of this disease by means of comparative analysis of prescriptions and medicines,and provided reliable theoretical data and more real and reliable drug resources for the clinical treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans in lower extremities,and provided reliable theoretical data and more real and reliable drug resources for the clinical treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans in lower extremities.Material and method:The ancient documents were searched with the keywords of "sphacelus","vessel impediment","reddish phalangeal gangrene","foot gangrene" and "nail gangrene" by using the Chinese Medical Code published by Hunan Electronic Image Publishing House.Then the relevant documents which accord with the standard of diagnosis and treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans of lower extremity were screened and proofread with the paper books collected in our library.Modern literature uses the Chinese Journal Full-Text Database,Wanfang Data,Chongqing VIP Chinese Journal Database(All self-built libraries until December 2017)to search for "arteriosclerosis obliterans" or "occlusive arteriosclerosis obliterans" for the first time,and then uses "Chinese medicine" or "traditional Chinese medicine " or "Chinese medicine" for secondary search,and then through reading one by one,screening,selection of documents that meet the standards.After standard medicines in the standards-compliant literature were standardized,a database was created using EXCEL 2007 tables,statistical analysis was performed on the frequency of ancient and modern Chinese medicines,and statistical analysis was performed according to the classification of drug efficacy,and the medication laws of ancient and modern doctors treating arteriosclerosis obliterans of lower extremities were analyzed.Results:1.According to the inclusion criteria and diagnostic criteria,a total of 64 ancient prescriptions were screened and searched for.The total frequency of occurrence of the drug was 624 times.A total of 134 modern prescriptions were screened out,including 141 Chinese herbs,and the total frequency of the drugs was 1166.2.According to the statistics and analysis of high frequency drugs in ancient and modern times,the frequency of Angelica sinensis and liquorice is the highest in ancient prescriptions,both of which are 37 times,the prescriptions appear rate is 57.81%,the highest frequency of astragalus is 73 times,the prescription appears rate is 54.48% times.3.According to the statistical analysis of the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in ancient and modern times,the ancient prescriptions of Deficiency-Nourishing Drugs,heat clearing medicine,drugs for relieving exterior syndrome,drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis,diuretics for eliminating dampness,antirheumatic Chinese medicinal herbs,drugs for dispelling internal cold,a total of 515 taste-times Chinese herbs appear,the frequency is 82.53%;in modern medicine,drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis,Deficiency-Nourishing Drugs,heat clearing medicine,drugs for calming liver to stop endogenous wind,drugs for relieving exterior syndrome,diuretics for eliminating dampness,a total of 987 Chinese herbs,the frequency is 84.65%.4.There were 20 kinds of Deficiency-Nourishing Drugs,180 flavors,and 28.85 relative frequencies,which were the most used drugs in ancient prescriptions,and there were 22 kinds of drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis,with 376 flavors and 32.25 relative frequencies,which were the most used drugs in this prescription.5.Comparing ancient and modern tonic analysis,the frequency of tonifying qi medicine in ancient prescriptions was 52.78%,the frequency of blood tonic medicine was 34.44%,the frequency of tonifying yang medicine was 4.44%,and the frequency of tonifying yin medicine was 7.78%;The frequency of tonifying qi medicine was 59.86%,the frequency of blood tonic medicine was 28.23%,the frequency of tonifying yang medicine was 6.12%,and the frequency of tonifying yin medicine was 5.78%.6.Comparing ancient and modern antipyretic drugs,the frequency of ancient heat-clearing and fire-purging drug was 17.39%,the frequency of heat-clearing dampness drug was 15.22%,the frequency of heat-clearing and antidote was 39.13%,and the frequency of heat-cooling blood drug was 25.17%.The frequency of occurrence was 1.09%;the frequency of heat-clearing and pyrotechnics in the current side was 4.92%,the frequency of heat-clearing and damp-drying drugs was 4.92%,the frequency of heat-clearing and antidote was 27.87%,and the frequency of heat-cooling blood-bloods was 62.30%.The drug frequency is 0.7.According to the comparative analysis of ancient and modern methods of drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis,the frequency of ancient blood-activating and pain-killing drugs was 54.84%,the frequency of activating bloodcirculation and regulating menstruation medicine was 37.10%,the frequency of blood-activating drugs was 1.61%,and the frequency of blood-removing drugs was 6.45%;The frequency of blood-activating and pain-killing drugs was 23.67%,the frequency of activating blood circulation and regulating menstruation medicine was 56.12%,the frequency of blood-removing drugs was 5.05%,and the frequency of blood-removing drugs was15.16%.Conclusion:1.Ancient and modern doctors treat the lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans drugs are mainly tonic medicine,heat clearing medicine,blood circulation and stasis drugs,the ancients also pay attention to solution of drugs for relieving exterior syndrome,diuresis,diuretics for eliminating dampness,antirheumatic Chinese medicinal herbs,drugs for dispelling internal cold,tranquilizer application.Nowadays,people pay attention to the use of hepatic air-impregnated drugs,digestion drugs,and hemostatic drugs.2.The ancient and modern doctors’ understanding of the disease is that "wind cold and dampness evil as the standard,deficiency of qi and blood as the basis,heat and toxin and blood stasis as the change",all of them were based on reinforcing deficiency,clearing away heat and detoxifying,activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis as the basic principles of treatment,but the ancients Mainly to "tonic" and " clearing" as the main,while modern doctors focus on "dredging" and "tonic".3.Ancient and modern doctors in the use of tonifying deficiency drugs are mainly to invigorate qi and blood tonic drugs in tonifying deficiency drugs appear in the high frequency of drugs: astragalus,licorice,eucommia,angelica,radix,ophiopogonis and polygonum multiflorum.4.In the antipyretic medicine,the ancient doctors tend to clear heat and detoxify medicine and to clear away heat and cool blood medicine,modern medicine is especially inclined to use the medicine of clearing away heat and cooling blood,ancient and modern doctors mostly use honeysuckle,radix rrichosanthis,coptis chinensis,cortex phellodendri,radix paeoniae rubra,cortex lycii and other antipyretic drugs.5.In ancient times,the medicine of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis was mainly used by the medicine of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis,while the medicine of promoting blood circulation and regulating menstruation was mainly used in modern medicine.They all used ligusticum wallichii and the root of bidentate achyranthes as the
