| Objective:To analyze the composition and patterns of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions in treating patients with lower limb venous insufficiency, and to provide evidence-based medical evidence support and clinical guidance for further promoting the treatment of this disease with traditional Chinese medicine.Method:Collect patients with lower limb venous insufficiency who visited Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2022,and screen cases based on inclusion and exclusion criteria.Record the patient’s general information, medical history, and the drugs and formulas used to treat lower limb venous insufficiency recorded in the case, and establish a database. The frequency analysis function, association principle function, improved mutual information method, complex system entropy gathering formula, and unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering method of the Chinese medicine inheritance auxiliary platform software V2.5 were used to analyze, and the drug compatibility rules of Chinese medicine for treating lower limb venous insufficiency were extracted to guide clinical medication.Result:A total of 156 patients were included in this study, including 58 male patients, accounting for 37%,and 98 female patients, accounting for 63%,There were more females than males, with a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 86 years, with an average age of 60.32±17.79 years. The study included 89 traditional Chinese medicines and a total frequency of use of 3237 times.By analyzing the "frequency statistics" function of traditional Chinese medicine in the database,high-frequency drugs for treating CVI with traditional Chinese medicine can be obtained and sorted from high to low. There are a total of 24 drugs with a result of ≥ 40 times.Among them, the 8 drugs with the highest usage rate are Huangbai,Huangqi,Achyranthes bidentata,Alisma orientalis,Plantago seed, rhubarb,Danshen, and Poria cocos. The total frequency of the above traditional Chinese medicine is 1146 times, accounting for 23.65%of the total, and the taste of the drugs is mainly bitter, sweet, and spicy; The main medicinal properties are cold, warm, and calm; The main meridians are liver, spleen, kidney, and lung. The most frequently used medication modes are Huangbai Niuxi,Huangbai Zexie,Huangbai Huangqi,Niuxi Huangqi,Niuxi Zexie, and Huangqi Zexie, with a frequency of 148 times and a usage rate of 94.8%.By utilizing the "Prescription Cluster Analysis"function of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistance Platform system,a correlation degree of 8 and a penalty degree of 2 were set,and drug combinations with a correlation coefficient of ≥0.11 were extracted.A total of 21 pairs were obtained, among which the 5 drug combinations with the highest correlation coefficient were "Sophora flavescens Leech","Momordica sinensis Chrysanthemum","Earthworm Chrysanthemum","Tuckahoea cocos Bai Xianpi",and "Huangbai yam".Through the unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering algorithm provided on the system, five new prescriptions were calculated and derived to guide the treatment of CVI,they are:A1 Notopterygium,Spatholobus,Hedyotis diffusa,Artemisia;A2 Pinellia ternata,Weilingxian,Tianfen,Gardenia jasminoides, and Lysimachia officinalis;A3 soil Poria cocos,Poria cocos,Chuanshan dragon,chrysanthemum;A4 Atractylodes macrocephala, leech, tangerine peel, and Angelica sinensis;A5 Salvia miltiorrhiza,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Sophora flavescens,Earthworm,Portulaca oleracea.Conclusion:1.Data mining analysis shows that the occurrence of CVI is often accompanied by pathological factors such as "blood stasis, deficiency, heat, and dampness".2.The traditional Chinese medicine treatment for lower limb dysfunction is always carried out through the method of promoting blood circulation and resolving stasis, while also benefiting qi,clearing heat and detoxifying, promoting dampness, and based on the overall situation, differentiation and treatment are carried out according to the accompanying symptoms of the patient.3.The core combinations and new formulas obtained from data mining can be used for clinical reference. |
