Clinical Observation Of Guwei Decoction Granule In The Treatment Of Postmenopausal Osteoporosis (Kidney Yang Deficiency Syndrome)

Objective: to observe the clinical study of guweitang granule in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis with kidney-yang deficiency.Methods: 60 postmenopausal patients with osteoporosis who met the inclusion criteria in the second affiliated hospital of hunan university of traditional Chinese medicine from December 2017 to December 2018 were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 patients in each group.The control group took xianling gubao capsule.The treatment group was treated with guweitang formula granules.After 6 months of clinical observation,BMD,osteocalcin,VAS,urine deoxypyridine and TCM syndrome integral and clinical efficacy were compared.Results:1.After treatment,there were no significant changes in liver,renal function,electrocardiogram and other safety indicators between the two groups after each course of treatment.The two groups of treatment is safe and reliable to human body without obvious toxic and side effects.2.There was no difference in femoral neck BMD between the two groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05);There was no difference in femoral neck BMD before and after treatment(P > 0.05).3.There were significant differences in BGP before and after treatment between the two groups(P < 0.05),but no differences in u-dpd(P>0.05).BGP and u-dpd were significantly different in the treatment group(P < 0.05),and u-dpd and BGP were significantly different in the control group(P < 0.05).4.There were significant differences in VAS and TCM syndrome scores between and within the two groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05).5.There were significant differences between the two groups and within the group after treatment(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The clinical application of guweitang formula granules has no obvious toxic and side effects,and the safety is high.2.Guweitang formula granule has a good therapeutic effect on the symptoms of postmenopausal osteoporosis with kidney-yang deficiency,such as pain,weakness and weakness of waist and back,fear of cold and warm,and frequent urination.3.Guweitang formula granule can improve abnormal changes of bone metabolism indexes in PMOP patients,indicating that it may inhibit bone destruction and osteoclast activity.Further clinical trials are needed.
