With the continuous development of information technology,a large number of smart mobile devices with low-cost,short-distance wireless communication capabilities,and an increasing amount of data in various network services have led to a sharp increase in wireless communication data traffic,and in the past,wireless transmission.Speed can no longer meet people's needs.A terahertz wave is an electromagnetic wave having a wavelength between millimeter wave and infrared light wave,and can support a data transmission rate of 10 Gbps or more.However,it has a short propagation distance and is severely disturbed by rain.Terahertz wireless personal area network is an ultra-high-speed wireless network that can realize self-organization and self-management and is suitable for short-distance and high-speed data transmission.At present,standards related to terahertz wireless personal area network access protocols are still in development.This article is mainly based on the IEEE802.15.3c protocol and is based on the appropriate improvements to be applicable to terahertz wireless personal area network communications.This article first introduced the background and research status of terahertz wireless communication technology,then introduced the main application scenarios of terahertz wireless communication,and introduced the super frame structure,principle of terahertz wireless personal area network access protocol and frame aggregation technology,and then introduced the related technologies implemented by the terahertz wireless network access protocol.Then,introducing the IEEE 802.15.3c protocol introduction,analyzing the working principle and existing shortcomings of the existing mechanisms,a reliable and high slot utilization MAC protocol(RHSU-MAC)for terahertz wireless personal area network is proposed.This protocol improves the time slot of CTAP,the number of aggregated subheaders of the standard frame may be fixed,and the problem that the aggregated frame sub-frames can not be correctly parsed to cause retransmission is correspondingly improved and processed,which is beneficial to improving the time slot of the network Reduce the control overhead in data transmission,and reduce the number of retransmission subframes in the aggregated frame.After that,this paper designs the overall implementation framework of theterahertz wireless communication access protocol and the specific implementation method of each module,and then uses related software to carry out programming and development,and specifically designs and implements the RHSU-MAC protocol.Then through the simulation software,the terahertz wireless personal area network access protocol is verified at the functional level,which ensures the correctness of the access protocol.Then,a simplified test platform was built,and the corresponding generated files were burned into the Xilinx FPGA development board.Communication performance tests were conducted on a simplified experimental platform to obtain data throughput,end-to-end round-trip delay,delay jitter,and packet loss rate.The test results prove the superiority of the RHSU-MAC protocol.Finally,the full text is summarized,and pointed out the next research direction.
