On the major short video platforms,there are a large number of contents with female body consumption as a stunt,and the phenomenon of female body consumption has once again become a hot topic and research focus.Previous studies have focused on how men view and consume women's bodies.This paper takes a new approach,starting from the feminist theory,based on the perspective of women,with men as the reference,this paper explores the female audience as an important part of the female group,their viewing mental attitude and discourse interpretation of same-sex body consumption short video.Therefore,this paper adopts the research method of combining questionnaire survey and in-depth interview to discuss and discuss from the perspective of viewing and being viewed.The data were analyzed from 539 valid questionnaires and 15 in-depth interviews with women,During watching,Men and women show obvious differences in the preference and attitude of watching short video.Men focus on the consumption of female body sexual desire,while women tend to learn and imitate the body shaping of the same sex.Men and women tend to be consistent in viewing motivation and viewing behavior.As a part of the subject to be viewed,Women's attitude towards the same sex body consumption is both critical and referential.In critical reading,women play three roles: the ingratiator of sexual body,the subsumer of pleasing behavior,and the spectator of obscene comments.In the process of referential interpretation,female users tend to seek identification and look back on their own shortcomings.the main reasons for this result are the reinforcement of the gender difference between the messenger and the leading actor,and the imbalance of female discourse.
