Research On Significance Of Short Video As Visual Text

Short video has emerged as a new theme of mobile Internet after "Weibo","WeChat" and "Webcast".Users have participated extensively and profoundly to make short video have a new value of social interpretation instead of the attributes of content products.Starting with the underlying logic of the evolution of short video content,this study takes it as a visual text for in-depth analysis,discusses the technical support of short video,and dissects the generating mechanism of its text significance,with a view to revealing the infinite possibilities of short video in communication practice.This study traces the evolution of short video through literature research and content analysis,clarifies its interpretation boundary as a visual text,and explores the significance generation mechanism of short video as a visual text.Short video is different from other visual texts,the technology has no threshold to achieve national interpretation.As a result,short video becomes a de-centralized text,a thorough intertextuality,significance interpretation points to the strategy of deconstruction.Visual rhetoric is a decoding system of deconstruction strategy and a generating mechanism of short video significance,which constructs an open significance space for short video.This research obtains relevant data of short video text production by means of questionnaires and in-depth interviews,aiming at the problem that "the uncertainty of short video significance" and "the indentification of short video text",quotes the classical assertion that "media is information".By analyzing the subjective and objective value of short video text,it explains that users carry out short video text.The behavioral significance expressed in this production.Finally,the conclusion is short video originates from the deconstruction strategy of national interpretation,and flows in the implied significance of visual rhetoric "context elements","audio-visual elements","image elements";as the significance of visual text,short video originates from the original intention of user's behavior,namely "social participation" and "Fashion Expressions" rather than the external reference of text..
