The short baseline positioning system is suitable for underwater positioning of small underwater platform such as AUV,ROV,diver,etc.According to the requirement of underwater ROV underwater short baseline positioning system,the hardware platform of the system is designed,and the system driver and positioning algorithm program is written.This paper first analyzes the basic principle of the short baseline positioning system,the parameters of each part of the system are disigned according to the index requirements,which including signal form,sound source level,receiver gain,etc.Then,the hardware structure of the positioning system,the architecture of the water processor,etc.The structure of underwater positioning acoustic array and transponder are designed.After determining the system structure and parameters,the important parameters of the circuit are designed,and then the hardware platform of the water processor and transponder is designed and debugged,including the selection of the signal processing core.The design and development of A / D conversion circuit,the design and debugging of signal conditioning circuit and the design and drive development of D / A converter circuit,and the design and matching of power amplifier circuit.Finally,pool test and offshore test were carried out to verify the performance and function of the positioning system.According to the test results,the system basically met the needs of the partners.
