Predicament And Solution Of Guizhou Older Unmarried Men Under The Perspective Of Social Support

Along with the influence of mate selection gradient and marriage migration in China,many male surplus and male marriage in the marriage market are squeezed.Who are at the bottom of the society,mainly in the economically backward rural areas.Formed older unmarried men in rural areas.This study regarded the rural unmarried and married men of the same age in Guizhou Province as the research object.The questionnaires and interviews were used to disseminate and recover the data of the subjects.Using the quantitative and qualitative methods to understand the rural unmarried male individuals.And the basic families' situation,sort out the status of the three dimensions of marriage,love,reproductive health and social support,explore the similarities and differences between married men,to present the marriage cost,health knowledge needs and social resources of rural unmarried men.The dilemma exists in the aspect,and analyzes the reasons why rural unmarried men are in trouble in the micro,meso and macro levels.Combining the theory of mate selection gradient,reproductive health knowledge and belief,and social support theory,we cut into the dilemma of rural unmarried men,and built a targeted social support system for older unmarried men to get rid of the disadvantaged situation and improve their lives.The situation provides a certain reference.The study found that 55.8% of rural unmarried men were educated at primary school and below,which was higher than 35.6% of married men.In economic conditions,the average annual income of rural unmarried men was 13811.34 yuan each year,which was significantly lower than that of married men.At the same time,the daily status of older unmarried men in rural areas is not optimistic.More than half of the rural unmarried men in rural areas are in a sub-healthy state.The status quo of marriage and love: 38.1% have not talked about girlfriends,20.7% of them have not introduced objects,69.0% of the intentions have not yet been married,and the local wedding ceremony 78.4% concentrated between 20,000 and 100,000 yuan;the reproductive health,older unmarried men generally have a low level of understanding of sexually transmitted diseases,knowledge of sexually transmitted diseases,sexual knowledge.The access route and the demand for sexual health care knowledge are relatively limited;the rural unmarried male group lacks horizontal husband-and-wife relationship and vertical parent-child relationship,resulting in imperfect social support system and lack of social resources.Finally,the older unmarried men have the predicament in rural Guizhou,this paper attempts to clarify from the perspective of social support,clarify that the government,society and individuals bear their respective main responsibilities,and clarify the division of labor of the social support system for rural unmarried men in rural areas,fully satisfying the rural areas.The needs of older unmarried men;grasp the dimensions of“old unmarried men themselves-subject,external social resources-objects”,to improve the ability of older unmarried men,the power to intervene in social resources,and the governmen's policy-related inclinations.To provide a new way to solve the plight of older unmarried men.
