Urging marriage is one of the hot issue faced by unmarried women in contemporary China.Urging marriage is the behavior that parents of young people exert pressure on young people through language or purposeful actions to force and urge single young people to get married early.This study takes marriage urging as a dynamic process,and uses the qualitative analysis method based on the grounded theory to study the psychology of the people who urge marriage/the people who are urged marriage in the process of marriage urging,and to explore the intergenerational marriage and love psychological differences reflected in marriage urging.The first study through analysis of the nine urge marriage interview data,to explore the relationship of parents being urge marriage person psychology,the study found that the attitude and behavior of the parents urge marriage,parents will be suggested by language,latent force and urge to persuade education,the way to urge marriage,in the process also embodies some of their attitude.Secondly,parents have their own cognition of marriage and love.They hold the traditional concept of carrying on the family line and raising children in old age.They believe that marriage is necessary and that marriage is a life planning consistent with the social public.The psychology of marriage urge is affected by social environment,personal background factor and family background factor.Social environment factors include social prejudice,change of times and media guidance,personal background factors refer to the education level,and family background factors include the relationship of the original family and living habits.The second study explored the psychology of marriage and love of unmarried women by analyzing the interview data of 10 unmarried women.The results showed that unmarried women were encouraged to get married with different stress responses,which varied from person to person,including positive emotions,negative emotions and neutral emotions.The coping behavior of being urged after marriage includes four types: defense,escape,counterattack and perfunctory.However,pushing marriage brings psychological feelings such as personal privacy being violated and disrespected.Unmarried women feel forced to grow up and desire to communicate with their parents and be understood.Unmarried women express their cognition of marriage and love.Firstly,they pursue gender equality and freedom and independence in marriage,so they are more cautious about marriage.Marriage,they believe,is not a necessity for happiness,and it is a personal choice.In the process of being urge marriage,unmarried women to urge marriage psychological made their own interpretation,urge marriage as parents life stress and anxiety,they are affected by the herd mentality,urge marriage women often have a feeling of low value,urge marriage is its low value transfer and projection,urge marriage is the expression of parents care for their children.In addition,unmarried female respondents also recognized that their parents play different roles in this process.The third study compared the results of the first study and the second study,and made a comparative analysis of the marriage psychology of the people who were urged to marry and the people who were urged to marry,and obtained the intergenerational differences in the marriage psychology of them.The result found that there are many differences between the two in the criteria of mate selection,views on marriage,and their own psychological state.At the same time,the third study also obtained the performance and resolution methods of intergenerational conflicts in the process of marriage urging through comparative analysis.Finally,the possibility of dialogue between parents and their unmarried daughters is discussed from the perspective of integration,and the methods of good communication between generations are put forward.
