| Objective: Massive open online courses(MOOC)is a teaching model based on using a network platform,in which educators provide free course content on the Internet,and students can individually choose different courses according to their preferences and needs and real-time interaction is implemented.This learning platform has become increasingly popular among nursing graduate students.Conducting research on MOOC learning of nursing graduates is of great importance to the changes on graduate teaching concepts and models,enrichment of the current curriculum system,improvement of teaching quality and development of information capabilities and innovative thinking.Methods: This study used purposive sampling method,using the MOOC learning experience questionnaire through online survey platform,We Chat,QQ and a variety of ways to investigate nursing graduate students.Results:(1)Received 201 valid questionnaires,and 150 nursing graduates participated in the study of MOOC and only 57 graduates received certificates.And the majority of participants only choose to study one MOOC at one time.(2)Most nursing graduates participated in the study of MOOC are from normal universities,and majority of them are in the first year of academic master degree.(3)Convenient and free learning methods is the most attraction of MOOC.The main purpose of nursing graduates to participate in MOOC study is for personal interest and access to better resources for education.The biggest difficulty encountered by nursing graduate students in MOOC is cannot persist in learning.Most nursing graduates get to know MOOC by introduction of teachers and classmates or friends.Conclusion: MOOC enriched the nursing graduate students’ education by increasing educational resources and learning opportunities,improving the ability of autonomic learning,and make education more equitable.Nursing graduate students are basically satisfied with the learning of MOOC,but they are also lack of learning motivation and communication during self-study. |
